Ayfor's Tales, A Shadowrun Chronicle Part 1.5 (teaser)

First off, I want to apologize... I am a terrible gamer and missed the last session, which I hear included a car bomb (which honestly makes me glad my character uses his own motorcycle)

So, since the game is every other weekend anyways, I wrote up a short teaser and hope you enjoy...

A buzzing woke Ayfor, he'd been laying half on, half off the cot in his safehouse. Drek, he was a mess. Gone too long without chipping in, his brain was in shock from the lack of stimulous. He reached for the tray of BTL's, accidentally flipping it over in his haste before his fingers found one of his precious chips. He inserted it into the socket with shaky fingers, his breath ragged as it seemed to take forever to boot up. He blinked, the persona of a cockney thug filling his awareness. He looked around, his synapses finally clicking into place, recognizing the buzz of missed calls on his handheld. The place reeked of sweat and stale beer, time to air out the place, he supposed. He had a leaking pipe he could route water to to take a semblance of a shower, so he did, "Go' to make meself presen'able, now don' I?"

Afterwards, he pulled on some dark jeans, a faded muscle shirt and slid a tactical jacket over it, the armored leather creaking as it eased into place. He finally got around to patching his handheld to the HUD on his cybereye and saw that he'd missed 5 calls, all from Johnson and G'rulnak, "Bloody 'ell, what'd I miss?"

This is a nice update! Some great descriptions in this piece. Hope that showers helps...

Thanks! I can't wait for him to actually find out what happened and go on the next job ^_^

Hopefully the PC will be resurrected soon, making it easier to use Roll20 and keep doing missions.

Guessing you either stopped playing or stopped posting, but I'd like to hear more. The Sixth World is so fascinating, especially the gritty life of a downtrodden ork.

The group kind of fell apart, hoping to get more inspiration to continue with this character, however, as I am rather fond of him.
