The Myth Episode 2.

She stopped talking and asked Godsway to tap the guy behind him. Patrick stood up amid praises with his hot sweaty face and red eyes. He stood for the rest of the lesson and was quite engrossed with it. Thoughts began streaming into his head about the existence of the ancient civilization and if remains still existed. Immediately, Abdullah also known as "King D" raised his hand and asked a question.
"Does the Zontelisk still exist?" He asked
"As of now, archeologists haven't found any evidence of its existence. Also that was like 3,000 years ago and all of a sudden, they just disappeared. So the chances that the Zontelisk exist is very thin. But history has it that the Zontelisk housed a powerful and mysterious artefact that was the source of all their strength, power and intelligence. That's all I know so when you guys get to your hostels, surf the net for more information. There will be a presentation here so do your homework well. See you all at the presentation." She said as she walked out of the class.

Out of the class, Patrick was still in his daydream when he was joined by Emmanuel. They began chatting on a wide range of topics.
"So what do you think of what madam was teaching today?" Emmanuel asked
"I've got no clue. You don't remember I slept like half of the lesson?" Patrick replied
"I know. But then you woke and listened to the interesting part."
"Uh-huh. This Zontelisk thing is nothing more than old history. Its not relevant."
"Well I think otherwise. Let's head over to the ICT centre for some more info, or you have other things to do?"
"Okay, let's see there. You started this though".
The ICT centre was located near the school's library. The administration recently installed the Li-Fi networks in the centre and since then, internet speeds were a staggering 1GB/s. They started their search and found nothing useful, but some bunch of ruins. Just on the verge of giving up, they stumbled on something very interesting.

Mary and Nihad were eating their lunch in the schools cafeteria. Chicken with beans and a packet of kelewele to go with. They descended on their prizes showing no mercy. They were later joined by Ama, who also brought her arsenal of food. As high school ladies, they were all 18 years and were in the General Science class. Mary and Nihad were in Science A and offered Biology with the core and elective subjects, but Ama was in the Science B class and she offered Geography instead of Biology. In their white tops and blue skirts with a pair of black sneakers, they looked dazzling. The trio finished their meals and helped themselves to some snacks after which they walked back to their classes chatting and laughing as they went. Their laughing turned to sobbing as they saw the Elective math turors enter their respective classes with "Quiz" written on their faces. Slowly the three ladies went to challenge their unseen monster.
Away from the screaming and groaning of students battling the monster, Godsway was actively performing some sit-ups with Kwame.
"76, 77, 78" Godsway was was counting as kwame went. Godsway was a thick, tall, muscular fellow. He was the Commanding Officer of the School's Cadet force. Kwame was his 2nd in Command and he just arrived from the hospital a day ago after he sprained his ankle during a cadet rehersal session, but was now fit as a fiddle. At 5 and a half feet, he was a little taller than Godsway who stood at 5 feet. Yesterday, the school's cadet force was inagurated and as such, they were still in high spirits. Kwame missed the inauguration, but didn't seem too bothered either. The cadet room was more like a gym, except for the whiteboard where the physical education tutor occasionally gave some lessons. Fluorescent lamps lined the roof. A really large plastic globe sat on the table. No body knows who brought it there and no one was concerned either. What could a globe possibly do to someone muscular like Godsway?
"Oh look. Mr. Fred is going to class now". Kwame reported.
Mr. Fred was the physical education tutor and knew his job. Short, fair, square faced and a thick moustache, he was an open person and everyone could talk freely with him.
"Then you better hurry. He doesn't like it when his students are late" Godsway said.
"Aren't you coming along?"
"I'll pass. See you later".
"See you later then" kwame said as he walked out of the cadet room.
Godsway wiped sweat from his brow, grabbed a comfortable chair, and decided to set his head down for 5 minutes. It didn't take long for sleep to engulf him in its enticing clouds.
Away from the cadet room, Anabel and Samira were sitting in the Arts B class. The Government tutor was lecturing them on how laws were made in Ghana. In that hot weather, the students were totally uncomfortable, despite the air conditioner. Most were wiping sweat from their brows and were restless. But Miss Joan was bent on concluding the law making processes and so ignored their nonverbal messages.
