Chapter Three
: Not the house party quite expected

Not wanting to introduce me to her parent’s when in reality--I was a murderer on the run, we decided to stay at a hotel on the outskirts of Sky’s hometown, Tomah. In despair and desperation to reach out to my brothers, I picked up the phone and dialed Trent's number. I wasn’t even sure if he knew what was going on and if Johnny gave him a life-changing phone call as well. He seemed to be doing well, yet he and Tiffany were expecting a child within the coming days. Once I relayed Johnny’s unnerving message, Trent's voice filled with panic. He never once got a call and claimed he hadn’t seen or heard from Johnny in over a month.
Colton hasn’t been around in weeks and due to his phone being disconnected, he was unreachable. As for Jacoby and Nicki, well, according to Trent, they have been seeking therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder and the county is in day old terror from the gruesome murder scene we presented.

Later that night, Sky directed us to a small tavern where her parents usually hung out when they rolled in on a Harley for a pool tournament. I wanted to familiarize myself with her hometown, so I was in no disagreement on having a little night out. My only hope was that we didn’t have another run-in with Dom. Getting locked up in a town I was unfamiliar with definitely set off some nerves.
A neon sign blemished ‘Callahan’s pub’ into the face of the building and those very same 'nerves' began stretching my stomach. It was a small place that had tons of bikers mingling in groups, bullshitting with angry slander.
“So, how do you propose on drinking in here?”
“I grew up with the bartender, Tannor. He’s chill, so no worries.”

Sky led me straight to the bar, instantly greeting her old friend with warming body language. Smothering a rekindled flame, I reached out for a firm shake, mirroring his charm. He seemed like a decent human being after engaging a pissing contest. Oh, how he went on and on and I sat there, pretending to give an actual shit--but Sky--and those nails dragging up and down the thigh of my jeans had me aroused. Supposedly this kid played in a local band called ‘Distinguished to Dissolve’, he also went to school with Sky, and of course, had to throw in how he had a crush ever since he could remember. Yes, the entire first impression that blazed nonchalant attributes that my brain would purge by daylight.
“What’s the story with you?” He directed towards me.
I pushed up from the edge of the bar, giving an asinine answer. “Oh you know, just a typical guy living a very untypical life.”
Sky struck my chest with the back of her hand. “Sorry, he’s being shy. He has a rather intriguing life since I happen to be a part of it and all.”
I gave a little laugh in appreciation. I liked the fact that she took up for me, even if the guy standing across from me was a level up. Tannor slid two bottles of beer in our direction, warning us to behave ourselves before carrying on. Sky waved him off, pulling me through the crowd of smoldering strangers, gyrating in a stagnant haze. Stopping in the center of the makeshift dance floor, Sky backed into me, swaying along with the music. I glanced around the room nervously as my lungs flipped in my chest from excitement. I followed her motion, grinding slowly--lost in the moment as Sky ran her vacant hand down the side of my face. If I didn’t have better self-control, we'd already be ripping buckles and invading trousers.
A younger gentleman masked by shadows, sat invasive in his corner, eyeing the hip rotation that slew my grasp. The brim of his cap concealed his identity well and drilling my eyes into the darkness to find glinting circles, Sky shook her ass to the change of bass--stealing my attention all over again.
Feeling clammy skin meet my fingertips, I rested my chin on her left shoulder. "We're about to fuck."
With a roguish smile, Sky bent over, pressing into me further. Noticing her half empty bottle, I offered to grab us both another while she remained in motion with the music. I meekly squeezed through the surrounding mass of dancing bodies to reach the bar without abrupt confrontation.
Waiting on Tannor to acknowledge my existence, I leaned against a bar stool, admiring Sky while she lost herself in the rhythm. But of course, trouble should arise the moment my target stood from his chair, making his way to Sky. I should have known he was waiting for an open opportunity to approach my girlfriend, and there it was. He slowly pulled her in by the small of her back, laying a kiss on her cheek...my jaw clenched at the sight of her giggly expression. Tannor nudged me to gain my attention before my temperature hit a boiling point.
“Sorry, I was just...”
“Watching Sky? I feel you. No worries, though. Driften Reeves is an old friend of hers.” He interjected.
“Well, he has been creeping on us since we stepped onto the dance floor. Hard to believe.” I sucked my teeth.
Tannor shook his head with a subtle laugh. “Can you blame him? Hey, Driften, be a gentleman and introduce yourself!” He hollered.
He and Sky turned around--all smiles and I growled lowly, clasping both bottles in my hands. A macho sway led me to where they were standing.
“Here’s your beer, babe. I’m Malice, by the way.” My eyes darted.
With a wink, Drift gripped my hand. “I've heard.”
“Malice? I’m sorry, Drift. He’s unfamiliar with Wisco. He’s a Jersey boy.”
“No disrespect. I understand." He chuckled. "Why don’t we--uh--become better acquainted back at my table, Malice?"
This guy seemed sure of himself and I tried to lay my feathers for Sky's sake.

Driften laid his hat on the table, running long fingers through his dirty blonde locks. Finally, I could see a decent amount of his face under the restrictive bar lighting. I didn’t trust anyone offhand, so I was careful of what information I allowed to pass from my lips to his ears. He kept things casual--letting me take the reigns on our conversation. Drift's tattoos glowed beneath the black lights, flourishing my accumulative desire. “Who does your ink?” I politely intermitted.
A prideful smile cracked Drift's lax expression. “A personal friend of mine. He owns a shop downtown. Are you looking to get more work?”
“If it’s as good as yours, then my answer would have to be obvious.”
Sky smiled warmly; rubbing her hand gently up and down my bicep while Driften and I conversed about guy things.

After an hour or so, I eventually gave into beginning to like the guy. He shared some amazing facts about his latest adventures this year. The more he told me the more I wanted to be like him--or at least vicariously for cheap thrills. Drift claimed he went to college for two years, obtaining a degree in chemistry, but honestly attended for the campus action. He has skateboarded since he was nine years old and now longboards through the city streets, making money. Hell, I was wishing I had joined him when he backpacked through Europe last summer. Drift's life seemed like something I’d only dream of and I was determined to be just as successful, even if it killed me.
A six pack and three shots in, Driften invited us over to check out his new space. I was uncertain at first, only because I could barely stand, but Sky was more than willing to go. I snagged what seemed to be the only stability I had left just to make my way outside before causing notice. I gripped Sky’s hand following Driften to his car when my jaw fell open to a sleek, silver Camaro with bright red and black upholstery. The passenger side door swung open with an invitation and I climbed all the way into the back. It was a tight fit but I felt privileged to enjoy a ride. The car’s power had me pressed into the subwoofers, gripping both headrests to keep from receiving whiplash.

We pulled up to a three story townhouse with a two car garage. The door slowly rose, revealing a blacked out Lamborghini and my voice rose a few notches. “What, uh… did you say you did exactly?”
“I didn’t.” He flashed a smile through the rearview.
We climbed out, following Driften inside. The bottom floor was his kitchen area and a guest bedroom was located down the hall at the very end. Taking us on a tour, I couldn’t help but feel like I was inside a true hippy’s palace. Neon paintings plastered the walls and black lights accented the unique statues scattered about. A large fish tank with colorful coral was placed along the far wall, comforting a shelf above that presented X Games competition awards.
The second floor was the living area--comforted by a large white sectional couch and a poker table resting stout in its corner; made from an empty distillery barrel that drew your eyes to glass doors to the pool deck. From there, we stepped onto a titanium spiral staircase that took us to the top floor. The master bed and bath was down the hall to the right and a mini bar made from the ground up decored the left wall, presenting a large Plexiglas room engorged with UV rays. What sat inside was pure heaven to my senses. This motherfucker was a weed producer. Seeing all of his fancy things made it apparent that his shit was good and he was serious about his work.
Driften pulled open a frosted glass door, motioning for us to walk out to the deck. It overlooked his pool and patio set up that left me in complete awe. Gazing into the percolating body of water made me reminisce on times with Trent and slaving under Mr. Rick for the summer.
“You care to hash down?” Drift gained my attention.
“Is that a trick question?”
We lounged on the couch, talking some more about what we’ve been up to in life, lately and Driften got on the subject of money, arousing worry. “What exactly do you do for work, Mali?”
“I used to work for a pool company back in Jersey.”
“What happened with that? Did this pretty lady capture you in the meantime?”
“Something like that.” I shot her a wink.
“If you ever need funds and find yourself in a bind, I can definitely help with that.”
I observed his exit as he walked down into his bedroom--still talking. Sky took a hit that had her choking once Driften reentered the room--shirtless. He made Trent look small and that was hard to do. A cutoff muscle tee inched down his torso in the midst of reaching for the bong. Sky realized I had caught her staring, but even I too was staring and a random ego trip had me suddenly feeling a little awkward.
“How often do you hit the weights?” I asked.
“I have my own gym on the bottom floor. You should come over for a few rep sessions. I can get you toned up and irresistible for your girl over here.”
I gave a side smirk, knowing what little muscle I had going on wasn't in comparison with his. “I just might take you up on that offer. Now tell me more about this “job” of yours.”
“Well, as you can see, I grow my own product. I distribute all over the state and have buyers in Denver as well.” He went on.

I felt Sky clutch my hands, lightly massaging them--utterly seduced by her high. Entering an illusory trance, my eyes became acquainted with Drift's mass weapon collection--eye fucking an M-4 that I've only ever seen in a video game. Hidden behind a false wall, the lavishness bombarding every corner--I was afraid. What the hell was this guy getting us into?

“Where you guys staying at currently? If you want, you can stay here.”
“We are staying in a motel on the outskirts of town.”
His eyes landed on Sky's--locking--mentally communicating with a childish smirk that quelled her uncertainty.
I glanced at the melting clock on the wall to steady my breath--counting down from five, slowly. There was an interesting vibe between the two that burned in my chest. It was fierce...and intoxicating--or was I just that high and delusional? My car was back at the bar and at this point, Sky and I had no set plans. "Are you always this advantageous?"
Driften laughs, preparing to settle us in for a few hours rest.
Entering the guestroom, the door shuts, Sky locks it but doesn't immediately turn around. I was stolen by this, shaken by thoughts of emotional hysteria. "Malice..."
I was hesitant to speak--my heart ramming beneath my breast to break out and scream. "Yes?"
Facing me, her eyes settle on my lips with a fearless smile. "I want to fuck you like a maniac." Leaping into my arms, I toss her onto the bed aggressively. I wasn't about to let another girl fuck me up and I think she knew that.
Pulling me down by the shirt, our lips latched for the longest moment and I couldn't think about anything else. Every time we kiss--Sky takes me to another place, but jealousy kept me grounded, crumbling my humility. Sky wasn't in this to lose-- I could feel it and maybe it hurt. My belt loosens and I wanted to panic, but instead I clasp a large hand around her throat--never squeezing. "Why?"
"Because you need to know that I love you."

I rolled over to a cold pillow, cracking my eyes, realizing I was alone. Quickly sitting up with a groan, I glanced around the room. The door was closed—my tee shirt hanging on the knob, but what brought me to my feet was a muffled conversation coming from the living room. Peeling the sheets from my naked body, I disguised a morning salute with day two jeans, rolling my tongue along my teeth, consumed in depravity for Sky’s mouth. Ignoring the winding smirk sabotaging my dimples, I snatched my shirt from the brassy knob, ripping the door open. Marijuana assassinated my nostrils as I wandered down the hallway, lured by Sky's laughter and the clink of my buckle. Standing in the entryway, I see Sky—and then Driften—offering weed with a grin on his face.
"Malice! Glad to see you've finally risen." He exhaled an unsteady cough.
I fastened my belt, paying him no mind—none at all. You see, my eyes were stuck on Sky—comfortably wrapped in a hoodie two sizes too big. Taking a seat beside her, I felt betrayed and couldn't stop staring at the golden embroidery of 'Brookwood High'.
"Are you all right?" Sky's lips met my shoulder; nestling to my side. "I didn't want to wake you, you looked so exhausted." A giggle followed and I found it pleasantly sexy. I wanted nothing more than to force Sky against the couch cushions and fuck her until Driften's eyes bled. "Did I wear you out, baby?” Her faint exhale tickled my ear, leaving my skin to tingle.
I was staked at the tongue, accepting Drift's offer—gassing out until I couldn't breathe. "Damn, Malice. Are you alright? There's water in the fridge." My vision magnified in and out of focus, hindering me from standing to my feet. Merely sedated, I didn’t know what came over me, but I was entering a dangerous mindset. Able to stabilize my balance to fetch a drink, I left the room, gaining speed as if I was running from Sky—hearing her steps thud behind me, but she reached out grabbing me by the arm once we reached the kitchen. "You need to talk to me."
I didn’t want to talk; I wanted to be so deep inside of her that I could read her every passing thought! I wanted to chisel away at the inner workings of her mind, ataraxic and lighthearted with descry.
I pried the refrigerator door wide open, bouncing my eyes all around the white box until seeing a group of water bottles. Dismantling the lid, I took several sloppy gulps, dousing my chest in chilly streams that hardened my flesh to stone. The echo of her breathing crawled up my skin, forcing me to glance in her direction. "What kind of relationship did you have with him?"
"Did last night not mean anything to you at all?" Twiddling her thumbs in concentration, Sky impulsively stripped off the hoodie—dropping it to the floor like dirty old shoes. Inhaling through her flaring nostrils, Sky rejected a detailed response. "I don't think I need to explain." The devastation flooding her eyes damn near dropped me to my knees. Was she experiencing doubt or guilt or perhaps both?
Let me read you, baby.
Unfold and let me discover.
I want to read the writing engraved on your walls, unravel secrecy and learn your language, making it my own. I only wanted skin—the deepest ruins while she lay back and left me to travel with no direction, no map, and no time frame. I craved the need to wander aimlessly about the monstrosity of dimmed hallways and trapdoors—the sneaky silence that rattled my spine with each step that kept me wondering—starving for what was next to come.
“I’m not used to this.” She neared me with warm hands to my hardened chest but exiled anything further. I remained still and let her—I let her decide which direction she wanted to take and it was fucking frightening. “Malice…” I was taken by the vanishing space between us, feeling her heart beating through her clothes; an offbeat rhythm of fast—slow—fast fast—slow, but wore a self-possessed expression that held no transparency. "I loved him once upon a time…” Her voice didn’t rise above a whisper. “And losing that feeling damaged me to a certain degree." Sky then took up my hands, placing them on either side of her face with an endearing gaze. Naturally, I cradled the back of her head, enclosing both fists around masses of hair—afraid to let her go or watch her leave. An abrupt tug had her perched up on her toes, drowning in the darkness of my eyes—crashing her lips into mine. My lungs expanded in my chest and my body felt on fire. We were in love and un-fucking-controllable and I’ve never wanted anything more. Drawing back to meet my eyes, Sky’s appeared glossy. “You’re afraid you cannot find me—but I cannot allow for you to lose yourself while searching for me…when I’ve been here the whole time. I—am—yours, and you are mine.” Sky left short gasps across my lips, regaining self-control--though, I didn't want her to. “I love you—and I love your crazy.” She dismissed herself from my company. Taking a few confident steps, Sky suddenly halts herself, briefly glancing over her shoulder—stopping my heart as she bared her teeth. "And no—he's never had me and never will."
The breath fell from my mouth, lunging forward as I snatched her by the wrist, yanking her into me with a kiss that left us lying against the bottom three steps. I wasn’t used to the empowerment that shackled me down like an anchor—but it was addictive and surreal; soul capturing. I wasn’t used to it at all—these feelings that left me slain—but she’ll always leave me wanting more. Sheik in fibers, a mess undressed, but nothing short of pure.

At one with my certainty, I was hidden behind the four walls of my mind all evening long. Drift took us for a ride in the Lambo to commence business but I kept Sky in my thoughts and nothing else. We hit a long, drawn out road, overwhelming with forestry on either side. At the end of this road was a long, white wooden fence with a graveled entrance that stretched about a half mile out from a large hilltop Victorian house.
“Has it ever occurred to you how spectacular this is?” I laughed.
“Wait till you see the inside.”

Two gorilla sized men stood posted at the entrance--clutched in business attire, sunglasses, and lax expressions. I pulled Sky into my side as they escorted us through the front door. A gentleman who was suave down to his shined shoes humbly greeted Driften. He quickly introduced us while Sky and I were busy scanning every square foot of his home.
“I’m Kokoh." He quickly introduced himself while Sky and I were busy scanning every square foot of his home. "Glad you fancy my place.”
“That sir is an understatement.” Sky corrected and Kokoh smiled.
“You two feel free to take a gander, just don’t get lost.”
Soon, we were left alone to wander while Driften ran off to discuss business. Sky took my hand, pulling me up the stairs with a promiscuous smile. We went to the very end of the narrow hallway, slowly opening the door to the last room. A large bed with a canopy centered the room. I quietly shut the door behind me, watching Sky glance around.
“This house is amazing!” She beamed.
“Well, then we might as well milk it for what it’s worth.” I ran up picking her up onto my waist.

Falling into my kiss, I gently laid her onto the fluffy goose down comforter. Wrapping her legs around my hips, the strength from her squeeze weakened my inhalation and my muscles tightened, feeling hot breath deluge my ear. "I want to suck you off until you cum in my mouth," I could hear the dirty smile in her voice. "And then I want to lay you back and dance all over your fucking face..." A long exhale followed. "So that you may taste the excitement you give me."
My chest bowed inward, staring into her eyes--she meant what she said and I was left bulging at the seams. Flipping me over with all her might, Sky pinned me to the mattress, straddling me in a slow grind. I observed the lowering jaw as she began to unwind and lose herself, fists wrinkling up my tee shirt as frustration rose and the faint sighs that sailed into the air as Sky hunched against me--driving her nails into my twinging muscles. I wasn't going to make her beg--I was just enjoying how close she was to coming in her jeans--and I let her.
Lifting my hips while pressing her further into me, Sky lost it. "I can feel how wet I am."
"Don't stop." My grip tightened around her ass. "I'm not letting go until..."
Sky's hands slammed into my chest with a loud moan that had her arched at the back. Sitting up, I released a vulgar remark, groaning against the pulse of her neck. "What was that you said about dancing all over my face?" We both laughed.
"You make me crazy inside, Malice." Sky kissed my lips and the tip of my nose.

The jingling of the door handle widened our eyes as we flew from the top of the bed, dying of laughter.
I stood unamused as Driften opened the door, practically humoring the idea of what just went on.
“I fucked a girl in this room once.” He smiled and Sky threw me an oblique glance. “What are your plans later on?”
I was left to answer. “I’m not sure. What did you have in mind?”
“There’s a little “drop” I have to make in Madison. I only have a small window to get it there and collect payment. You guys up for--er--seeing a real house party?”

I was skeptical of the idea, but then again, it wasn’t like Sky and I had anything else better to do. I was used to those wannabe ritzy house parties in the hills of SoCal--you know--at'the rich 'kid's' place. Where underage drinking was a lifestyle and not a gateway to premarital sex and cops swarming in to shut it down became adolecent tradition. I was ready for something new, a different scene and certainly, a change of pace. Where better to start then somewhere you don’t know?

Before leaving for Madison, Driften took us to pick up my car, giving us time to pack our shit and check out of the motel. Keeping in mind that he had a time frame to get his work done, I didn’t want to lag on but every chance she got--Sky had me backed into a corner, sucking the life from me. We were savaged animals--rabid for the taste of one another. There was no gray area--it was either my tongue in her mouth or between her legs. We were insatiably addicted to each other and didn't give a fuck where we were--if we wanted it--dripping with sin, we took it!

The duration was a seven hour trip from where we were currently. Sky was running her nails against the jet black fabric of her leggings, lipsyncing and bobbing her head along with the radio. Indulging in her very own precious moment, I couldn’t help but break away her attention. Longing to drown myself in the sea of her gaze, I reached over, pushing her sunglasses up to her hairline.
Turning down the music, Sky looked at me. “Why’d you do that?”
“Because," I grinned.
"Because?"
"I am obsessed with your face."
Her cheeks got all pinky, turning the volume back up, singing aloud this go round.

The sun was now setting as we rolled up to a gated entrance. The security was so enhanced that Driften had to enter a passcode just to open the gate. I slowly exceeded behind him, pulling up in front of the large house. Cars were parked around the hydro dramatic fountain that centered the driveway, none of them being anything lower than $50k in price. Blue and pink neon lights lit up the white house as music vibrated the steps up to the front door. I had no idea what we were about to see, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared of what lied on the other side. I kept Sky close behind me as the door pushed opened with the embrace of streaming bass that boomed my chest. I couldn’t see anything beyond faint silhouettes in glowing white shirts and a tall, bulky ebony gentleman led us inside, giving Driften a strange handshake.
The floor was white marble and the air was clouded with marijuana smoke. A bunch of blacks lounged around smoking and drinking while watching the strippers they had for entertainment. I counted at least six female dancers just walking through the living room--magnetizing my glinting eyes with lucid lace and nails. Sky squeezed my hand with a reality check and I felt myself smile.
“There’s alcohol in the kitchen and plenty of things to partake in. My boy Javan will take care of you two while I go take care of business.”
Before I could ask who ‘Javan’ was, I felt a large presence standing over me. I turned to see a pompous male wearing a white tee shirt so tight that if he flexed, it would have shred to pieces. A timid smile pulled at the corners of my mouth, hoping he wasn’t going to harm me for looking so inane.
Noticing my frozen posture, Sky intervened, putting on the charm to get the imperious watchdog to ease up.
“Look at you, aren’t you just the cutest little white girl?”
My face formed a stupefied look watching Sky lightly slap his chest with a huge smile. “Awe, thanks sug.”
“I’m Malice.” My voice shook.
“What’s up, partner? Why don’t you and your little princess sit with us? I will be more than happy to introduce you to my crew.”

I followed Sky’s lead on this one. It’s not that I was prejudice by any means, it’s just back home in Jersey, there weren’t too many black folks that hung around my neighborhood. Disrespect was the last thing I wanted to show around these guys. Javan sat us in the center of his very large friends, making the feeling of being uncomfortable an understatement. On a black marble table sat a mirror with powdered lines and a few blunts--some smoked, some not.
The guy sitting to my left bent his head down snorting a rail as thick as a pencil. My eyes were enlarged and I felt myself gulp with intimidation.
“Want a line?” Javan asked.
I looked at Sky before responding, but she just shrugged and said “why not?”

I cupped my mouth, resting my arm on my knee in preparation to watch my girlfriend. She was more willing and open minded than she led on and it kind of turned me on. Sky pressed her index finger to close off the unwanted nostril, bending down towards the table. In one snuff, the line disappeared from the mirror. I threw my head back in hysterical laughter, watching her eyes squeeze shut from the burning sensation, but Sky insisted I do one, too. I've never done coke before--ever--but it was too late to shy away now. I leaned down, snorting a line so thick I felt it cake onto the inside of my nostril. Instantly, I began choking, feeling a bitter clump find its way down the back of my throat.
“Here man, take a sip of this.”
I reached out taking the glass of blue liquid from Javan, nearly downing the entire thing.
“Yum, what is that?” I licked my lips.
“Hpnotiq. You can finish it.”
I nodded with gratitude tanking down the rest. Moments later, two petite Asian dancers took ahold of the poles in the distance and began performing. I sagged into the couch cushion feeling a strange high coming on as I enjoyed their elegant movement. Sky and Javan were busy rolling blunts, comparing who’s was better while leaving my unpredictable mind unattended. The dancer on the right specifically caught my eye with the way she’d climb all the way up the pole and slowly descend using only the strength of her arms while her legs were spread into a V. I knew she felt me watching once we locked eyes and she began taunting me with the rest of her techniques.
The scent of burning weed entered my nasal cavity, pulling my attention to track it down. Sky had a blunt in her hand, offering it to me. I toked on it for a while until I tasted bitter residue running down my throat. I gagged under my breath, entering an intense cough attack after inhaling a little too much. Both effects mixed together had my high reach a level I’ve never encountered before now. My body didn’t know whether to feel relaxed or alert--my high was being completely bipolar, one minute I’d be floating in unawareness, then the next, I’d be staring intently at what was happening around me.
Sky seemed unaffected by either as she sat talking with our new found friends. It felt like hours since we had seen Driften, and I wasn’t brave enough to go wandering off looking for him. From the corner of my eye, I watched Javan lean into Sky’s ear to keep their conversation covert. Her giggly response had me longing to know what exactly this guy just whispered. Meeting my eyes, Sky informed me that he asked if he could do a body shot. Like--what? If my paranoia didn't assume the amount of concealed guns and oversized men populating the room--maybe I would have objected. I slightly nod, biting at my thumbnail and Sky proceedes to lay out on the marble table, raising her shirt with a meek gaze. Impaled by deadly irises, my teeth ground together--silencing all the noise. And like a gazing ball, I was drawn to them.
Terrorized by Javan's boff, pomergranate liquor was poured onto Sky's taut belly--gaining my full attention. Running a long pallet up the mid of her stomach, ribs stretched her skin tight and her eyes rolled back.
Before I knew it, I was standing over him, pulling him away by the shoulder. "Nah--that's good, brother."
Inside I was screaming. What if this man kills me? I'll never forget the emptiness in his eyes--unempathetic and terrifying.
Straightening his posture, Javan reached around to draw but the echo of Driften's voice trumped the uproar of madness.
Helping Sky up from the table, I was actually grateful to see the bastard. "Malice, apologies. It isn't often the boys decide to bring out the "e"."
"Ecstasy?" I entered a sudden head change. "ho--ly--shit!" My words slurred and I felt the tickle of an oncoming sneeze.
A whimpy looking guy in a Bulls jersey and cargo shorts reached out for a shake. "I hope beyond the altitude of excitement, you and your lover found pleasure in your experience."
I was trying my hardest to suppress this damn sneeze to the point it formed pain in my head. The drug restrained me and I plopped down onto the couch with Sky following. I didn't care about what was being said to me--I was mentally absent with a meaningless smirk on my face. I remember the muffling of their words--Driften and this stranger--but I was unable to respond. I was captured by the euphoric sensation of Sky's nails tracing up and down my forearm. "Just relax," she whispers. "Driften won't let a damn thing happen."
