In this Holy day of Friday - day of Lenten before Easter, I want to show you the most prettiest soul I ever known.
{This picture is from her Facebook Page}
I met her 9 years ago, when we were working together at a Lebanese restaurant in Constanta - Romania, both dancing, both were belly - dancers.
Those years were so beautiful, we didn`t felt like we were working, it was our hobby that we were sharing with enthusiasm and joy.
Every night at 8 P.M. our show would start with us, everyone would wait just for us ...
Until one day when I got tired of working in that place where the conditions were awful and decide to go in another road ... but she stayed there, dancing year after year.
I told her as a joke one time "Micky, get out of there, one day the walls will fall, the place is too old!"
But she laughed and said that she loved to dance, didn`t cared about the bad conditions.
And one day, the tragedy happened ... the walls did fell ... 😔
On the night of 5 April 2015 , Beirut Restaurant was in fire.
In that moment I was near the street with a friend of mine in the car and seeing the terrible fire and smoke along the street, I did not know what happened ... I did not imagined that the restaurant was in fire ...
I got home and opened my phone, the Facebook was full of photos from the street ...
Started to cry until 4 in the morning when the news said : 3 girls were found charred in the restaurant ... and one of them was Micky ...
The news had the title : "Three girls were burned alive" ... three souls, three young girls, two of them danced like it was the last day of their life and one was singing Ed Sheeran song - I See Fire.
That young singer wanted to learn the song to sing it in that night ... and she did it before the fire started.
The girls were found in the locker ... in the same room where we changed the clothes for the show ...
A lot of people asked "why they did not get out?"
Because the fire was all around that locker room, if you wanted to get out who had to pass trough the fire, the locker room was in the back of the restaurant.
Beirut Restaurant did not had the license to build another floor, but they did it anyway and build it with wooden panels, so the place was "perfect" to light just like a match.
There was a bartender that heard them screaming, but no one went after them.
The owner went back and saved some people but not them ...
The pain is still intense ...
After years of working in a restaurant, Micky started to do more shows for private party`s, weddings and all kind of events, just like she wanted ...
Rest in peace Micky ... miss your smile girl!
So sorry for your loss, @laviniatherapist! Micky, had a wonderful smile, indeed! Hope you will find comfort for your soul on this Sacred Holidays.
