I'm back (so are you ... hello!)
This post is the last one of this series. Not because I will not keep writing about ... well ... writing. It's just cause we will diversify some topics, so you'll find new posts with different writing methods. Our journey will not be linear, but parallel depending on which path will you follow :)
After you've picked a topic and develop your premise and idea, you'll have to choose your format. Maybe you started thinking about a 200 pages long novel, but you can develop your argument in a 20 pages long good tale. Or maybe you'll have to write to 10 chaps series of stories to agroup your whole argument.
The most important thing is to know how to organize your story and don'y make it unnecessarily long or too short to make a logic argument.
To prioritize your plots, there are plenty of theories created by narrative's theoreticals. Those paradigms were developed to organize and define the narratives threads and prevent them to get tangled and take your story nowhere.
Before get into those theories, you'll have to define your main plot. What's your biggest conflict? What are you characters confronting?
Write a few and meet me in the next post :)
