If he told me, it would've worked..

He was a kind-hearted man I always have known. A lot of people see him as a man of honor. They say his dedication in everything he does is enough to keep what he has. He was the sweetest, the most understanding, and was a best guy to many. He has his own humorous acts that may be strange but they had me laugh out loud til the next day. The thing about him is that, he appears too happy that he doesn't wanna speak out the heavy thing his heart has been carrying around.

One day, I noticed something different. He wasn't the jolly person I have always seen. He was too preoccupied that he began to see all things in a negative way. He would say he didn't know what to do anymore and he wanted to be stuck in a corner and think of how he can probably turn things around. As worried as I was, I told him I'd listen as I always have. He can count on me. He tried to confide but it was too late.

He worked on his decisions on his own. He indirectly ended a relationship that would have had a happy ending if he held on.

It was a quick story to begin with. There were ups a nd downs but he chose to live on his commitment freely. The gist was no longer there and he didn't give importance to it as anyone would have done the total opposite.
