ပဲခူးမြစ် သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတောင်းပိုင်းမှ မြစ်တစ်စင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ယင်းသည် ပဲခူးနှင့် ရန်ကုန်ကို ဖြတ်သန်းစီးဆင်းသည်။[၁] ပဲခူးမြစ်သည် ပဲခူးရိုးမမှ မြစ်ဖျားခံကာစီးဆင်းပြီး[၂] ရန်ကုန်မြစ်သို့ စီးဆင်းသော မြစ်မခမြစ်သို့ စီးဆင်းသွားသည်။ ပဲခူးမြစ်နှင့် ရန်ကုန်မြစ်ဆုံတွင် သန်လျင်မြို့တည်ရှိသည်။ ရန်ကုန်မြို့နှင့် သန်လျင်မြို့ကို ကူးသန်းသွားလာရန် ပဲခူးမြစ်ကို ဖြတ်သန်းတည်ဆောက်ထားသော တံတားနှစ်စင်းရှိသည်။ ၁၆၀၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် မြန်မာလူမျိူးများ ငဇင်ကာ ဟုသိထားသည့် ပေါ်တူဂီလူမျိုး စွန့်စားသွားလာသူ Philip de Brito e Nicote သည် ရွှေတိဂုံစေတီသို့ ရောက်ရှိခဲ့သည်။
ပဲခူးၿမိဳ႕ေပၚ ရပ္ကြက္အ ခ်ိဳ႕ ေရနစ္ျမဳပ္မႈမ်ား ျဖစ္ေပၚေန ၿပီး ပဲခူးျမစ္ေရသည္လည္း စိုးရိမ္ေရမွတ္အနီး ေရာက္ေနကာ ေနာက္ႏွစ္ရက္ခန္႔တြင္ စိုးရိမ္ေရ မွတ္သို႔ ေရာက္ရွိႏိုင္ေၾကာင္း မိုး/ ဇလဌာနမွ သတင္းရရွိသည္။
ပဲခူးၿမိဳ႕၏ စိုးရိမ္ေရမွတ္သို႔ ေရာက္ရန္ တစ္ေပခဲြခန္႔သာ က်န္ ရွိေတာ့ၿပီး ေရဆက္လက္တက္ ေနေသာေၾကာင့္ ၾသဂုတ္ ၁ ရက္ မွ ၃ ရက္အတြင္း စိုးရိမ္ေရမွတ္ သို႔ ေရာက္မည္ဟု ခန္႔မွန္းထား ေၾကာင္း မုိး/ဇလဌာန ဒုတိယ ၫႊန္ၾကားေရးမွဴးခ်ဳပ္ ဦးေက်ာ္မိုး ဦးက ေျပာသည္။
လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္တြင္ ပဲခူးၿမိဳ႕ ေျမနိမ့္ရပ္ကြက္အခ်ိဳ႕ ေနအိမ္ႏွင့္ လမ္းမမ်ားေပၚသို႔ ေရလႊမ္းမိုးမႈ စတင္ရင္ဆုိင္ေနရၿပီး ေရဆက္လက္တက္လာပါက ကယ္ဆယ္ေရးစခန္းမ်ားဖြင့္ရန္ ျပင္ဆင္ထားေၾကာင္း ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ေထြအုပ္႐ံုး တာ၀န္ရွိသူ တစ္ဦးက ေျပာၾကားသည္။
ဇူလိုင္လအတြင္း အလယ္ ပိုင္းေဒသအခ်ိဳ႕မွလြဲ၍ ျမန္မာ ႏိုင္ငံ အႏွံ႔အျပား မိုးသည္းထန္စြာ ရြာသြန္းေနၿပီး ျမစ္ႀကီးမ်ားတြင္လည္း ေရတက္လာခဲ့သည္။
သံလြင္ျမစ္သည္ စုိးရိမ္ေရမွတ္အထက္သို႔ ယခုႏွစ္အတြင္း ပထမဆံုးအႀကိမ္ ေရာက္ခဲ့ၿပီး လႈိင္းဘဲြ႕ၿမိဳ႕တြင္ ေရလႊမ္းမိုးခဲ့ေသာေၾကာင့္ ေဒသခံ လူဦးေရ ေလးရာေက်ာ္အတြက္ ေရေဘးစခန္းဖြင့္ခဲ့ရသည္။
