What do you mean you have a dog? It’s family...

There is a special chemistry between dogs and humans,whose roots are back in the depths of time.

The relationship of love,devotion and trust that develops between owners and their dogs is a powerful relationship that has been the subject of many surveys and ironic remarks....

How many times haven’t we heard comments like: Look what he does for his dog,he wouldn’t do that for his own kid?

What is this,however,that makes people so interested in a member other than their own breed ?
First of all, people who love dogs do not see them separately from their family.
But why??

Why dogs become part of the family?

Dogs are excellent translators of the language of their owner's body.
Whether they are going to dress for walks or get up - without any verbal warning - to feed them, dogs read their body language and respond accordingly.

Dogs also read the feelings of the owners and have the ability to offer unconditional love and acceptance.

The stories of dogs expressing their devotion, their faith and their love to people are countless... Dogs,unlike people,are always available to offer their company.

Dogs often risk their own lives and against the instinct of self-preservation rush into disproportionate risks for the sake of protecting their bosses.
They alert with barking about any danger approaching their home and of course there are dozens of other benefits of having a dog

Physical benefits

The relationship with a dog is a real gift for man. This relationship is therapeutic,in more than one way.
Our mood changes faster(and believe me i am an owner of two amazing dogs IT DOES)

The dog motivates us to practice,since their everyday walk is necessary, and in this way we train in a way that we enjoy it and at the same time we socialize.
People often stop me to admire or play or to ask something about my dogs and in this way we get to know people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do it.

Also children who grow up with a dog at home develop emotional maturity and responsibility.They become more careful with the feelings of other people as they have been taught through their parents how to understand the feelings of the dog.

The simple parental consent:Now the dog needs peace because he is ill or He gets angry because he is afraid trains the child to read the different feelings and to show understanding. This is later transferred to their relationships with other people. My little nephew which is only 2 years old is the living proof. I can already see him being attached emotionally with the dogs,and the dogs with him...

As a matter of fact there are cases where they lay on his feet and guard him...as if they know he is still small and weak

Fun

The presence of a dog in the house is clearly amusing.Even people who do not like dogs can have fun watching them.As for those who love dogs really is an opportunity to have fun and play with them.

Physical contact

For some people,physical contact with others may not be acceptable or desirable.But the warmth of body contact with a dog is of vital importance to humans!(it sounds silly but it’s not!)

It is important to remember that becoming a dog owner is an act of responsibility.
The benefits we can derive from a relationship between dog and man become visible only when we also offer warmth,love and devotion in our turn.As in all relationships,we have to give something so we can expect something in return

Dog trainers can tell you about the needs of a dog.Trainers will also help you find creative ways to communicate with your dog and teach you positive ways to train them.

It is said that:People domesticated the dogs and the dogs domesticated the human beings.We must finally admit that the above saying conceals a great truth.

Perhaps this kind of mutual domestication is the one that leads people,not to separate the dog from a family member,and the dog to be thrown with self-sacrifice to anyone who risks emerging to "save" his family....

Those of you who have dogs probably fully understand what i am talking about....
As for the rest....? I suggest you to start thinking of the possibility of having one IF OF COURSE...you are prepared emotionally,financially and mentally...
Dog isn’t a toy that you throw in the closet when you are bored of it. It is RESPONSIBILITY
