Protect Forests from Now, do Not Cut down Trees.

in writing •  8 years ago

Forests are the lungs of the world that can absorb carbon dioxide and provide oxygen for life on this earth. The forest is a live different kinds of animals and plants. Humans continue to take the natural resources in the forest without a guard. Many trees are cut down to be used without having to plant trees again. So the forest bare and can cause landslides or flooding during the rainy season.

Not keeping the forest raises some disadvantages, namely:

  1. Global warming.
Global warming is not only derived from motor vehicle fumes, but also influenced by the state of the forest that are not balanced. Leaves can neutralize carbon dioxide, that is why the forest called the lungs of the world.
  2. The loss of soil fertility.
When a tree is felled it causes the soil to absorb too much sunlight so it becomes very dry and arid.
  3. Causes of flooding.
One function of the forest is rapidly absorb and store water in large quantities when heavy rain. But when the deforestation of course this will make the water flow is disrupted and lead to stagnant water.

Preserving forests is one of the things we must do. If the forest is damaged then we will feel its effects. Therefore we must keep and maintain our forests. Because the forest is a natural resource that is essential for our survival. Preserving forests should we start our sendri, with our own awareness became know the importance of protecting the forest. Preserving forests can be done by:

  1. greening, greening one way to preserve the forest, by replanting already deforested. So that forests can be maintained existence and can still be used by living things. With the reforestation will be alive and will benefit us all.
  2. Do not throw litter in the forest.
The habit of littering it suah natural thing, but we should avoid the habit let alone in the woods. Because it can disrupt the ecosystem in the forest.
  3. Protect and maintain existing habitat in the forest.
The existence of living things in the forest is in the image most important and also need to be protected. This is needed because the existence of these creatures need to be on guard so as not to extinction caused forest fires and indiscriminate logging that has been done by many humans for the sake of their personal interests.

Many are still ways to preserve forests, therefore it is desirable for us to know how to preserve the actual forest, allowing forests to be clean and comfortable. Thank you for everything.

Great post and totally agree. We have to preserve our forests not destroy them

Yes, indeed it is very important to protect the forests. And you are right: "littering" is a huge problem as well.
To the numerous advantages of the forests which you already mentioned one could add that ...

  • Forests produce the O2 which we need to inhale.
  • They are a source of relaxation and recreation; people can recover from stress there (and also make interesting observations of fantastic animals)
  • Many plants (also unknown ones) in the rain forests can deliver very helpful substances against different kinds of sicknesses.
  • Forests contain a huge and very precious pool of genetic diversity.

so yes I agree, there are many benefits of forests for life. but a lot of people who do not care.

Yes, lets try to convince them of the importance of an intact nature, forests, the value of the oceans with all their fishes ...

yes, thank you for your attention.

This is a really good post but I'm surprised that you didn't mention the most obvious reason to preserve forests: trees are the best, bar none, method to sequester CO2 out of the atmosphere.

I think he meant exactly that by writing

Leaves can neutralize carbon dioxide, that is why the forest called the lungs of the world.
One could have written more precisely that the CO2 is incorporated by diffusing into the stomata of the leaves and then later used to build glucose (C6H12O6) and other organic molecules, but yes, I would say he didn't forget it.
