As September came to a close, so did my time in London. I am grateful for the roof over my head and the soft sofa. Grateful for the friends who treated me so kindly. But it was the close of a chapter. Close of a book in fact. I felt like a knight who'd completed his task and there was nothing left. No happy ever after. But this is a Bajai Body Camp episode. We can write about "feelings" later.

And now it's time for another XXXciting EpisodeNox Chron Ep 38.png

Keep it fit.

Up early today and right into day 12. 11 burpees done, 14 squats with 6k k-bell, crunches front and side and 14 step ups on the steps.

Rain outside. I need to get cash, take care of phone biz... and set travel plans. The morning tea is without sugar. Day 1. Yet another Day 1.

This might be closer to quitting smoking than giving up wheat. I look forward to the challenge and the results.

I stopped having sugar in my tea today. It's a big deal!

Been out all day walking around and not putting sugar in my drinks. One meal... and not hungry. Maybe eat in a couple of hours.

Okay... so far no sugar.

Finished the day with no sugar in my tea.

Up early today as my hostess works. I like to be up when she goes out.

Day 13? Maybe of the fit challenge. 14 is the magic number, except for burpees... a dozen of those. I don't have much space so I'm not doing super badass burpees, but I'm still getting the heart work. 14 biceps curls with k-bells and 14 chair dips.

Again morning tea. No sugar. Smaller cup. Finished it today. Extending the fast... maybe until 10-11-ish.

This almost became a series at Tube Stations

Part of this body camp series must include the no-sugar initiative. I was about to call it a challenge, but it's not something I'm intending to quit for thirty days... this is a lifestyle improvement. I started a calendar event. So far two cups of tea.... no sugar.

Those tarts send me to Jupiter. I'm pretty sure they are to blame.

Another long hike in London. Across Chelsea to Broadway then north in search of an English breakfast. Got there.

I'm at the top of day 3 of the quit-sugar initiative. Yesterday I had a mild headache... or should I say my head hurt?

Semantics. I got through without sugar though. Even had an English breakfast, tea with milk and a big jar of sugar right on the table. If I'm having cravings I don't recognize them as such. Supposedly day three is supposed to get me over the hump. But I don't feel as if I'm having any withdrawal symptoms. I know I didn't drink enough water yesterday. I forgot to stop anywhere to buy any.

Vasco, one of my hosts.

Fit challenge day 15, I think... 14 burpees, slo-mo work, squats with k-bells, deadlift with k-bells, bent row, pushups and floor presses. Abs, top, bottom and sides. Need to finish with the plank. 1:06 minute plank. About 50 minutes of training.

Morning tea with no sugar. Breaking fast around 1:00 I think.

Hitting the road today. Off to the southern coast of England to the Isle of Wight. It was a booking faux pas I'm looking at as serendipity. I booked the passage to Portsmouth, but the bed and breakfast in Sandown, on the island.

Universe will take me there.

Much walking last night and day three of no sugar was successful. Today, so far I have had no tea. This is day four. I don't feel I need it.

Rode in a black cab to Victoria Coach station.

The bus was tight and jerky. The seat belt was suffocating. I couldn't move. I wasted another chunk of pounds on a ticket I won't use, but may try to get a refund or dispute the charge or let it go. Whatever the cause, maybe a combination of the events, I had an attack... of some sort. Not ready to call it anxiety. Nonetheless I broke into a sweat on the bus. Felt motion sick. Reminded myself to drink the water I brought with me and breathe.

I could hardly believe I was getting all sweaty over money! But that was probably the biggest part of it. First I have to be more careful and next I have to allow the money to flow more easily.

The Isle of Wight was definitely not on my map at the start of this journey. I got here through a series of quick decisions made without complete information. I went for price point over location, but this time it worked out.

I'm in a nice residence house which includes breakfast. It wasn't terribly difficult to get here as I have grown stronger carrying these bags around the world. Which reminds me, I should update my map.

Day #5 of no sugar. It was tempting today because there was a bowl of brown and white sugar cubes on the table. I had to set it aside, the way I do with ash trays on tables.

IOW_20170929.jpg
Water + Sand = Beach. Good for the recharge. Literally!!

What other numbers can I attach to this day? Maybe #17 of the fit challenge... which I have still to accomplish. The call is for rain today, so maybe I'll take a stroll to the beach before... or maybe just get to work... social media and crypto education. I'm just slightly ahead of the curve, but I could've done more to stay on top of it. There's still time.

Oh yeah. I haven't seen any bars to train on, but maybe I can at least make myself stronger on the floor. Kick it in son!

On the first day in Spain, I must book this cruise.

Found a rec park here and got some pulling work in. I was amazed at a 10-10-10 pull up and able to do an iron crux for ten seconds three times. Last time I tried I could barely hold 3 seconds. They might be right about spreading these intense training days out.

Nice walk down the shore and on the beach. Returned to catch up on Steemit work. Managed day 17 of the fit challenge, 16 burpees, band shoulder presses and flies (they were tough). Added a few other pulls as well and pike pushups and abs.

Another walk around town... and goodnight.

Breakfast! I'll have to write something really nice about this place.

It's a rest day from the fit challenge and it's too early for slo-mo, so maybe abs, sides, planks, yoga, hips?

Day #6 of no sugar. Tea sipping actually seems more normal. I still miss the sweetness, but the bitterness is fading.

IOW Red cliffs.jpg
I really needed this place. Goodbye September. Goodbye Coconut

Great breakfast... butter. Round 1... P-smooth. Part of the no sugar strategy? Rain in the forecast. Next Generation on the comp. It might be a chill day.

Long-ass walk on the beach. Realized something, but now I forgot it. Food came.

It's raining here tonight but I have Star Trek Next Generation to re-watch thirty years later!!! It's a good night and place to chill.

Left knee playing up again. this area needs to be strengthened.
