Africans; Good people, good heart with a tendency to adapt to all situations. I have adapted to being solitary- dissociating myself from selfish and disgruntled myopic group of people yet to experience what real life is out there in the real world!

While many clamour to have a close encounter with a Whale here on steemit, i have been turned down several times even just to get a minute conversation- not to brag about my tiny achievement or make up false stories to get a whale Attention. I have never felt so bad to get their attentions: for so long i remained on the blockchain- i will be just fine!

Despite not having a stomach for lies and unnecessary publicities, i stayed active gor several months with an average of two blogs per day: my creative works and not some false Steemit crusade agenda that captivates The whole of steemit. Many find my active blogging awkward, some even think i am jobless- so what is the job of a writer if you do not write? or what is the task of a Blockchain Blogger if you keep lazing around?

Many times on discord and chatrooms, chatting with some steemians we came onboard together same time; to my dissapointment, the quest for power and authority had consumed every part of human ouy of them- greed to get rich quick and become mini gods all for what- A dammed Respect! Greed had turned most of this old friend to something completely different.

The once friendly ones now act strange with some delegated powers, they seem on top of the World and see others as inferior to them. Steemit is no man's land buddies- its big enough for us all without colliding!

As much as community building is very paramount on this platform, we shouldn't have allowed the politics that is killing the World of men creep into Steemit. Creativity and originality also takes important roles and there deserves recognitions. Doing what i loved doing kept me going for this long otherwise the level of lobbying and politicking is a good reason to bail!

Before the advent of newbies support platforms like MinnowSupport PAL network and other community selfless service groups, Steemians really do not know the importance of communications with fellow users across the world- Now it is a key element to surviving om Steemit; you don't communicate, you don't earn!

I made friends, made some enemies in my region for saying the truth- of which nobody likes being corrected. This are recipes to grow on steemit, it requires tacts that never bore your followers out. Truth be told, you will be discouraged when you don't get enough view and support as you expected from the Blockchain.

Rome was not built in a day is what they say; if you are on the Blockchain Social website for the money, then stay put and do your thing. If you get lucky, you might get some healthy upvotes for your creativity.

As a solitary steemian, responsiblities is another key factor i let motivate me. Hardfork-series, @steem-lagos(A page to promote steemit in my city which my fellow country men sees as competition) are the things i look up to work with, they are pro-bono gigs but i am glad i can do something and not lobby for Votes and false supports.

I am a one Toy Steemit Soldier, my quest to test new ground will soon pay off and i will start a new life in another country-strange land, learn new cultures, leave a hateful community filled with greedy and selfish individuals. It is a priviledge to be here on Steemit!

My life as an Immigrant is a series i will start soon- thank you Steemit and One love to the Faithful supports!

PS- To any immigration consultant on this platform, i would love to reach-out to you!

You already whale status bro!

I feel your pain! I ran into this same level of powerplay which really disgusted me, when i started taking steemit seriously...

But guess what? I made it a point of duty not to engage on that level, but rather bring on my own originality, and show that i can rise too and become a great force of good on steemit...

I am still a far cry out, but my vision of where i want to be, makes me already feel like i am living my dream.

Soldier boy! You have grown! Big ups to that!

i love you for this mate- you encouraged me with your brief story which is enough for me to fight on- bless you

Mixed mood across this piece. Just wanted to point out, you will find every kind of personality in almost every society. I guess the key is putting up your filters and letting the ones with the right attitude for your wellbeing in. Goodluck with your struggles.
