it seems to me that humans will either have to move away from eating animals, or drastically reduce our own population, if we are to survive as a species. Part of the solution could be "lab grown" meat, which may be more humane, healthy and environmentally sound once the technology comes of age. Or perhaps we will be supplanted with AI that lives on solar power and keeps us around for entertainment.
