Playwright Workshop, Live at The Writers' Block!

So, the #playwrightworkshop is cookin' over at The Writers' Block.

That's right, the Playwright Workshop is live!

And we're already putting together a little play.

There will be auditions for writers, actors, singers, and rappers... and probably graphic artists as well.

I still haven't named my character, even though I know she's a "lock-breaker" (physical and digital) with a smart mouth... but now I know why I made this character model:

I rendered this a week or two ago, but never did anything with it. It was probably due to the great screenplay distraction (where I found out I had to write a feature length film for my screenwriting course -- if you're curious about that, you can read the first few minutes of it here).

But I saw this image earlier today and just knew she was made for this purpose!

As such, gotta keep it consistent. Each character in the story will get the same 3D treatment. Since each character will be written for by a different writer, I'll work with each writer to make their character's model match their vision as closely as possible. That should be a lot of fun. ^_^

Anyway, we're still fleshing out the story that will be based in @mrs.digitalgold's fascinating setting, so I'll hold those details from a steemit post for now. That said, if you pop in the workshop, you can find out all about it as it develops -- even offer input if you like!
