The wind blew hard enough that afternoon. Cloudy clouds seem visible in the distance. But it did not discourage me and my friends from crossing the bridge that connects the two regions, and posing on it. 
The bridge connects between Desa Rumah Tiga (Poka) and Hative Kecil Village (Galala). The Bridge of Merah Putih, its name, was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia directly, Mr. Joko Widodo in early April 2016.
Has a length of 1,140 meters, this bridge soon became one of the icon or landmark city of Ambon, which also nicknamed the City of Music or City of Music.
When the bridge does not yet exist, according to comrades from Ambon, they must cross by boat, or take a detour if heading or from Poka and Galala, including when to Pattimura Airport or vice versa. Mileage was getting longer, which is about 2 hours.
With this bridge the distance to and from the airport is getting shorter, so it only takes about half an hour. Public vehicles are not allowed to pass this bridge, or if passing by may not take passengers.
