I'm not sure you should consider the calling to be a great sacrifice. Sure, vocation has its demands. But in reality, living according to the evangelical counsels is the best way of living. On the other hand, marriage is often an occasion to make sacrifices. It all depends on whether you can recognize in this way what God speaks to you, and whether you can love others.

By "sacrifice" I meant those demands. The sacrifice of giving up family, friends, the career you might have had, the person you might have married, the family that might have been yours... etc..
But the religious life is the most perfect state, yes! And of course, by giving up everything, they really can gain everything! ^_^
