The MotoGP rider commented on the possibility of rain fall during the inaugural race in Qatar in mid-March 2018.
Unlike the other MotoGP series, the inaugural race held at the Circuit Losail, Qatar, is the only GP that took place at night.
However, during this bad weather factor becomes a thing that disrupt the continuity of the race at Losail Circuit, Qatar
Therefore MotoGP also decided to advance the schedule of Qatar GP race two hours faster.
For Movistar Yamaha rider team, Valentino Rossi, he claimed no problem if the race in the Qatar Grand Prix takes place in a rain condition.
"I have no problems, I'm fine for the race in wet conditions, I'm ready," Valentino Rossi said.
On the other hand, Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) has a different opinion because he prefers safety.
Falling rain during the night race is considered to endanger the safety of MotoGP riders.
"Safety is always a priority, we will test everything and then I hope we all end up having the same opinion," said Pedrosa.
With rain fall then the track will become slippery and the splash of water can block out the pebalap's sight.
Not to mention the problem can also be generated from the reflection of light on the puddle of water that can dazzle the eye
