My Day at Bizarrocon: The Convention for Authors of Strange Fiction

That sounds so amazing! Have you read anything in the bizarro genre? I ran across some info on it a couple years ago and was excited beyond belief to start reading, but my library carries zero books by bizarro authors. Zero. I couldn't even get them to bring them in by interlibrary loan. With titles like "Every Time We Meet at the Dairy Queen, Your Whole Fucking Face Explodes," I guess I can see why, but dammit.

"The Big Meat" is an interesting one about the industry that springs up following the defeat of a Godzilla-like monster, to monetize its remains before they decompose enough to cause a public health crisis.
