A very difficult question

Dora was a girl of only 9 years old, who was in fourth grade in elementary school. She who had beautiful brown hair, prominently blue eyes, with a tender look and a captivating smile, was in the pensive classroom, since Lucas had asked her a question which made her doubt about the good and the bad. Bad of the world.

The little girl at such a young age had experienced a little pain since she had been an orphan until a few months ago when she was adopted by a beautiful couple in the city. And although she still needed to get used to the nice family, she was afraid she would not be happy with them, or even that they would simply throw her away for not meeting her requirements.

She felt overwhelmed and began to bother not to find the answer indicated by Lucas's little doubt; Which consisted of: Why are there bad people in such a beautiful world? That question had been promulgated when they were in the schoolyard playing the swings, which made Dora think in her life.

She had never asked herself that question, but when she heard it, she only made a doubt grow in her life, wondering: What had she done so badly, to have left her without a family for so long? Or was his family cruel? And as much as she thought about all this, she could not find an answer for it.

It was then, when the teacher Clariss noticed the decay of the girl in his class, something completely unusual, because Dora was one of the best students that she could have, being the one that more participated and the one that gave better answers in class, even for His young age, something that amazingly surprised the teacher.

Clariss waited for many of the boys to leave, and when the little girl came very close to her, he took her by the arm carefully, and bending down to her height, he asked.

"Dora that happens to you? Since you returned from recess, you were very distracted in my class."

The girl looked at him with suspicion, because she felt she had done something wrong, so she just lowered her face and denied it. The teacher, seeing that she did not want to talk, and even, was lying about how she felt, again asked.

-If you really were not distracted in my class, tell me a bit about environmental pollution..

The girl raised her blue gaze to the face of her teacher, and very shyly answered.

"We should not throw garbage, because we have to take care of our environment.

The teacher smiled at the child's cunning, since she had said so before going to recess, so, not wanting to stop teaching the girl, she asked again.

"I know what you say is true, but I would like to know specifically about sonic pollution, something we talked about very recently, after you came back from recess.."

Dora, who looked at the teacher, knew she had no answer for it, because she paid no attention, so, feeling defeated, she fell silent and again lowered her face to the ground.

The teacher knew she had nothing to argue about, so she proceeded with her goal.

"Dora ... I know that you are a very intelligent girl, very friendly and a very good student, but, I think you're lying to me about how you feel, because you simply did not pay attention to my class after returning from recess. I do not know what happened, but, you need to know that, you should never lie. That should be a rule in your life, only so you can live a good and sincere life."

The girl's eyes widened in that lesson, and surprised at what she had finished, she asked.

-Maestra ... if I lied makes me a bad person ?.

Clariss smiled at the girl's innocent question, and added.

"No, not at all, it only makes you more susceptible or vulnerable to becoming a bad person. The bad people that exist in the world were never in the beginning, they had to go through moments of many difficulties, in which he led them in wrong ways, thanks to their bad decisions.

"That means they were good at first?" She asked curiously.
Clariss nodded in response.

"Everything in principle had been good, but the man in search of power, filled his life with evil to achieve it. In our life Dora, we have the ability to decide whether to do the right thing or not. Right now when I asked you what happened to you and you denied that you had nothing, it was an opportunity you had to tell me a truth or a lie and you chose to decide what to answer. This does not mean that you are a bad girl, it only makes you a liar girl and we know very well that you are not, but, you could live that way if you do not accept your mistake and you do not decide to change it - patiently explained, the teacher."

Dora nodded in astonishment, for she had now found the answer to Lucas's question, so, wanting to affirm her answer, she told her teacher.

-Teacher, does that mean that the bad people of this world exist only because they have made wrong decisions in their life, that has led them to live in an incorrect way, and that, because of not accepting their mistakes, have not been able to change the Destiny of his way ?.

The teacher smiled, because again her star student was back, not only had she helped the little girl, but taught her something practical for life.

Clariss nodded as she stirred the girl's mane. And rising to take her hand and take her with her parents, the girl added.

"Ms. Clariss, I know I'm adopted and my parents abandoned me when I was a baby. But now that she has explained to me a little about the evil in this world, I now understand that my true parents are not bad and that I did not do something wrong for them to leave me since I was just a baby. That is why, if I ever see them again I will forgive them because they have only been people who have not realized their mistake ...

End.
