PeaHead Games Signs Me Up As Writer and Voice Actor for Upcoming Game, Neon Sword

Since so many of you have showed some interest in my game writing discipline, I thought I would share this news with you. I've been quietly working with game developer, PeaHead Games, on an upcoming game called Neon Sword that has been under development for a few months now. I've been studying the lore of the game to get ready for one of my most exciting journeys yet.

PeaHead Games have officially licensed me writer for short stories and novels to spring from Neon Sword's lore. Specifically, they have asked me to write stories that take place before the time of the game. Leading up to the main plot. Having worked through the lore, there are so many opportunities for stories that the possibilities are endless. I have also been informed that stories I write will find a place in the main plot, meaning either they will be influenced by my stories or play a main part in it.

I have also been signed up as a voice actor for Neon Sword. This is incredibly exciting for a game that could have gone with just text-based dialogue, but opted for voice acting. It will be my first exposure for voice acting, but I am rather looking forward to it. Fellow AIR Entertainment Owner, who is also a writer and has many years of experience as an actor, Andi Hodgetts, will be doing the majority of the voice acting. It was Andi who opened these wonderful doors for me after recognising my writing talent and I cannot wait to get started.

Quick Note On My Upcoming Novels

Silent Hill: Obversion, the sequel to my debut horror novel, Silent Hill: Betrayal, is in full development mode. I am working on completing Act 1 planning today. All creatures, locations and sequences for Act 1 have been developed. The main location for Act 1 is being fleshed out further before I can proceed with Act 2.

Welcome to the debut novel of my new dark fantasy series, Malum. Many of you who have commented on my previous steemit posts have shown a great interest in Malum: Rise of the Deadly Sins, for which I am so grateful. There is a sudden competitive streak between interest for Silent Hill: Obversion and Malum: RotDS that I will be keeping a sales tally for launch days to see which one had the most sales for Day 1.

For those of you who have not followed news on this novel, the Malum series is very much inspired by Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo game series. Maps and a bestiary of the major creatures and bosses will be shared with followers, so be sure to subscribe to the Malum newsletter that was issued yesterday. If you love horror in a fantasy setting, you will love these novels.

I have been releasing teaser cards for Malum on my Twitter feed and Patreon page. Act 1 is under development right now, and I am hoping to finish Act 1 for Silent Hill: Obversion and Malum: RotDS at the same time. Once Celenic Game Studios is fully up and running later this year, my own game development division of Celenic Earth Publications, I will be looking for a team to help me develop the Malum games based on my novels.
