Poem no.72 : Nature/Natura [Writers Block Poetry Contest Week 4]

Here is my entry for the Writers Block Poetry Contest Week 4.
The Writing Prompt for this week was:

Respond in a poem to the following quote:

Genius is the activity which repairs the decays of things, whether wholly or partly of a material and finite kind. Nature through all her kingdoms, insures herself. Nobody cares for planting the poor fungus: so she shakes down from the gills of one agaric countless spores, any one of which, being preserved, transmits new billions of spores to-morrow or next day.

Nature can create
Whatever she wants to,
But she can also devastate
And doesn't care much about you.

Humans think they are destroying nature
But they're actually destroying themselves
Cause nature adapts without the need for a new legislature
And she has all the time to rearrange her own shelves.

We are also trying to control her
And we're obviously failing hard,
Cause we may try how much we prefer
But she, in one second our plans can discard.

She's always been here
And she will always be,
And when our race will disappear
She'll create a better one for free.

La natura è in grado di creare
Qualunque cosa essa desidera,
Per distruggere tutto, un secondo gli può bastare
E a te neanche ti considera.

Noi umani, pensiamo che la stiamo distruggendo
Ma in realtà distruggiamo solo noi stessi,
Perchè la natura si adatta crescendo
E a nessuno deve chiedere permessi.

Inoltre noi la vogliamo controllare
E ovviamente non ci riusciamo,
Perché possiamo provarci quanto ti pare
Ma ogni volta siamo noi che perdiamo.

Lei, da sempre c'è stata
E per sempre ci sarà,
E quando si estinguerà la nostra razza amata
Un altra migliore ne creerà.
