A few days ago, I got together with a friend and talked about Tibet. He said, "I really want to go to Tibet. I am very tired now. I believe that I can get detached from Tibet. I laughed and said, "man, don't go. No use! You need faith, not Tibet."
The sky in Tibet is so blue, the clouds are so white, the water is so clear, the sunset of the Lhasa river, the starry sky of mount Everest, the enchanting of the lake, the sandbar on the south bank of the mountain... You can't help believing that this is heaven.
But Tibet is also a hell, because of the lack of oxygen and the heavy heart burden, the average life expectancy of the local people in Tibet is shorter than those in lower altitudes. Due to the lack of transportation and material shortage, many people are sick, but there are no doctors or medicine to cure them.
Tibet is not certain to be detached. For those who have lost themselves, travel can offer only a temporary lull, and not a solution to the underlying problem. Just as you lost your soul, you need faith, not Tibet.
