Living A Fake Life - The Fake "Reality"

What is Living A Fake Life? From my personal perspective, "Living A Fake Life" is the things you think you have but in reality you don't have it.

I will divide The Fake "Reality" into two categories. First is about Living A Fake Life with online social media which means all of daily activities like eating, sleeping, living will be posted online; checking online social media right after waking up; etc. Primarily, you spend all day just for social media. And the Second type is Living A Fake Life in real life, maybe in real life you think you are something big but in reality you are not and you keep on living with that kind of mindset.

Living A Fake Life with online social media. There are a lot of ways to point out a person who are faking their life on social media. For example:

• When you go to a night club, you see one of your friends doing nothing for the whole time, he/she doesn't dance, doesn't talk, in general, he/she is not interested or not happy at all. But on the next day, when you check his/her Facebook or any his/her social media platform, he/she will post something like "The best night ever/ Unbelievable / Yolo / ..."
• When he/she going out and see something unusual, anything happen that is not according to his/her plan, the first thing he/she will do is take out their smartphone and snap some photos to post it on social media.

Living A Fake Life in real life. Honestly, in the place that I am living in - Philippines, there are a lot, a thousand, a tons of them, you can clearly see them literally everywhere. For example:

• People showing off their smartphone, showing off their car, showing off their shoes, and so on ...
• People also showing off their power like: "I am a Manager of ABC company, President of XYZ company; I have authority for this, authority for that, etc." You name it.

Generally, People Living A Fake Life in real life think that they are better than everybody, they think they are number 1 in this society, if not number 1, it must be number 2 or 3. But actually their society is very small, it is just around the place they live. Technically, they are vain within their country but when they go outside and explore the world, nobody cares about them, they are invisible to the people eyes.

After all I've said, I want you to understand that Living A Fake Life is not necessarily only online but also in real life. Don't immerse yourself in that way of thinking, don't fantasize that you are something big. In reality, we're nothing, we are extremely small to the world out there. As long as we accept can accept the truth, that is the time we can become great.
