I have no idea what Steepshot is and have so much yet to learn! Thanks for the info on this. I intend to check it out and see how it works. Not sure I quite understand it all yet, but since I learn by doing, checking it out is probably the route for me to go. Thank you!

It's just another useful way to interact with the Steem blockchain... and a nice this to have as an alternative for those times when the main Steemit is acting slow or giving error messages. I also like the fact that you can use larger numbers of tags.

The formatting tools are unfortunately pretty minimal.
And I must confess that because I am OLD, I actually hard code most of my posts in raw HTML, bypassing markdown and anything else completely.

I do that mostly, too, and then I see other people's beautifully formatted work, and then I go into a fit of making myself comply to that standard too. And then I don't. Ha!
