The last time I won a fiction contest (thanks @gmuxx!) I failed to write a post and was thoroughly whipped because of it. So this is a very short post to let folks know that my story
Quick Silver just won first prize in @carolkean's fiction contest.
There were so many good entries in the contest and I am delighted to have won, but I do want to suggest to everyone to go and check out the other entries. There are some absolutely wonderful stories in there, some of which I think are more deserving than mine, or just as deserving. Got to give this little story some credit.

I would like to thank @carolkean for the prize money. I have transferred all of it (except the 2SBD that I need for the steemshelf) to @rhondak for her animal shelter. The puppies are more deserving and needing of it than I am.

Love your descriptions from the perspective of the dolphin, not to mention the deeper history behind the story - sad but a beautiful story non the less.
