So, you wondered how other bloggers manage to pull in thousands of followers and earnings in their every post. You thought that signing up for a blog site will lead you to the same path they are taking. Sign up, post, earn and the cycle begins. Simple, yeah?

So, you signed up for a blog account last month, spent a number of sleepless nights to publish striking articles and hoped for your share of thousands of money in the blogging world. Then, nothing came. Frustration and doubt started to win your senses and you already start to feel like you are wasting time.

Well, worry no more as I found the best habits of successful bloggers which we can also follow and apply in our daily lives. You can check the following discussion for their secrets.

Successful Bloggers Never Settle

If you noticed the profiles of most successful bloggers, you will see how well-versed they are in various fields. They are good in photography, drawing, painting and even poetry writing. They advocate continuous learning as they know that the road to success is not an easy path to take.

One most common misconception of the world about blogging is it is such a walk in the park. You sit at home, scribble words then enjoy the earnings. What most of the people do not know is that these bloggers have struggled their way to reach the zenith of success. Of course, just like in real life, people will only know you when you are on top without imagining what you went through to reach such status.

So, go out from your comfort zone. Always test your abilities and if you feel like you are good at something, enhance such skills. Never settle with just one alas in your cards. Never stop learning new things!

They Always Read and Research

Stephen King once said,

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There’s no way around these two things that I’m aware of, no shortcut.

Thus, if you want to excel in the writing and blogging world, it is very important that you read and learn from the works of others. Reading does not only improve the way you structure your sentences and paragraphs. It does not only improve your grammar and vocabulary. It does, however, add to your creativity and awakens your imagination which allows you to write better works.

In addition, successful bloggers research about their niche and their target market.
Thus, you have to know what interests your readers and what things they care about. You have to know the "wants" of your target audience for you to know what and how to deliver these needs to them.

Bloggers Communicate with Other Bloggers

Widen your horizon.

Although the blogging world only involves you and your computer most of the time, it is best that you let yourself become a part of one community. You have to mingle with other bloggers as you share the same ideals and habits. With this, you will be able to learn from them and such learning will help you master your craft.

Also, you will be able to widen your connection which will bring you a lot of followers and more successful bloggers. The more experienced bloggers you have within your circle, the more assurance you have that you will be more guided.

Also, successful bloggers provide honest and constructive criticism to their partners in the industry. So, you can expect that you will get honest reviews and guidance from them. These suggestions and guidance would be very helpful especially to those who are still starting in the blogging industry.

Successful Bloggers Carry Around a Pen and a Paper at all Times

27399500_2054920968122908_1650657909_n.jpgI jogged earlier this morning and viola, inspiration hit me! So, I wrote it down. Lesson: Always carry a pen and notebook with you.

You do not know where and when inspiration will hit you. So, always make sure you have a pen and paper with you when that time comes. This is one of the most common problems of bloggers including the experienced ones. They had the idea but because they failed to write it, they forget it. Then, they will start again groping in the dark for topics to write.

So, when ideas emerged during gym session or while you are stuck in traffic, you will be able to record them and expound on them once you have the time. You can always doodle something in your notebook during your free time or take note of that catchy line your coworker mentioned during lunch break. The bottom line is, you will have something to remind you of the brilliant ideas you encountered during unexpected moments.

Successful Bloggers Know When to Take a Rest

Learn to rest.

There are instances that no matter how much you try to force yourself to write a blog, you can’t seem to find your rhythm and all words you think of seem off. If that happens, allow yourself to relax and recharge. Never force yourself to finish the article. You may be able to publish something but it will still be equal to zero if its quality is not remarkable.

If you need inspiration, you can go to a retreat with nature or treat yourself for a vacation. During these times, allow yourself to be away from any workloads. Then, come back strong and better.

My Two Cents on the Matter

wow, another batch of excellent tips! These are all incredibly helpful. thanks @valerie15.

As an alternative to always bringing pen and paper, we can use an idea or memo app on your phone. But I must admit, nothing beats writing your ideas on paper :)

I agree! I can always choose to use my gadgets but do you ever get the feeling that the pace of your brain in processing ideas is way too fast for your hand and gadget to catch up? I do get that feeling. So, I stayed with my 20 peso-worth notebook and pen. Haha!

Same. It feels like the ideas are flowing more freely when you write :)
I got my P30 Avengers notebook and Faber-Castell gel pen too haha.
Cheers to being attached to our notebooks and pens!

This is an amazing article. Thanks for helping out new bloggers like me. :)
