Curly Or Regular: You Decide

in writing •  7 years ago

With all the choices you have in the fast-food game, the choice of FRIES might be the most varied. You can get shoestring, steak, crissed-cut, waffle, wafer, thick, skinny, curly, seasoned, and many more.

But which fry truly is king?

If you take the volume of the top two choices, it really comes down to regular or curly if you want true comparison and honest competition without the nuisance of nuance.

Do you like seasoned curlies (JACK IN THE BOX, ARBY’S) or do you like regular (McDONALD’S, BURGER KING, WENDY’s etc.)?

Seasoned curly. Arby's. You CANNOT beat them.

it looks crunchy...i would like to eat it when i am watching movie or playing game ...

Regular ALL THE WAY.
Only Regular fries works for me. Everything else is NOT fries.

If you're going to ask me, the regular, which is the original, will always be king. No matter how fancy fries can get, and although I choose them sometimes, I always go back to the regular.

Fries should have a dip in the same way as a king should have a queen. So my regular fries is accompanied by an aioli dip. The best combination.

So...how about you @writesbackwards? What's your preference? 😊

Curly FTW

Regular fries are good enough for me 😋

I love both styles :-)

Your post is always amazing @writesbackwards i really like your post👍😍

Legend has it that fries all started out straight and the peasants rejoiced. A wizard, bored with the straightness of the fries enchanted them with tasty goodness and a much more appealing shape...curls. The peasants were resistant to enjoy those fries because they were scared as now the fries resembled snakes that have taken many a life. But once the peasants tasted the curly fries, there was much more rejoicing. Legend has it anyway.

Chefs are really creative when it comes to food. Looks very nice and delicious :)

Regular, no flavouring, a bit of malt vinegar is all they need. Homemade beats all the others.
