WHAT'S THE DEAL?
The Undertaker vs. Sting is one of those dream matches that WWE fans have talked about for years upon years, but will it actually happen?
If you ask the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, the answer to that question is "no" because it is unlikely that WWE would clear Sting to wrestle after the serious neck injury he suffered way back at Night of Champions in 2015:

The impression we have is that Sting probably can't get cleared to wrestle. He's already retired. I know that if he could wrestle,he would want that match.
The Undertaker is advertised to appear on Raw's 25th anniversary episode later this month, and there has been increased speculation that his return could set up a WrestleMania 34 match, possibly even against John Cena.
While there's been no confirmation that "The Deadman" will wrestle again, there's also been no official announcement of his retirement, so we can't really count out the possibility of him stepping back in the ring one more time. The Undertaker was one of WWE's highest paid stars despite working a very limited schedule last year, according to FORBES, and if money indeed talks, the lure of another massive payday could be enough to bring him back, especially if it's for a dream match against someone like Sting.
In fact, Sting revealed just last month that he's put off neck surgery in hopes of a match with The Undertaker, also noting that he feels fine and is ready to wrestle. While the widespread belief is that WWE would not clear Sting to wrestle, we saw just a couple of months ago that WWE quickly cleared Kurt Angle so he could work as a last-minute fill-in at the TLC pay-per-view, a surprise given that there had also been questions about whether or not WWE would clear him.
Sure, Sting vs. Undertaker seems like a long shot, but if The Undertaker wants to wrestle and Sting can somehow be cleared in time for WrestleMania 34, this is one of those "never say never" situations that may ultimately shock the world when it happens. Still, even if you're a betting man, you probably shouldn't bank on this happening and should chalk it up as a best case scenario, one in which a lot of dominoes would have to fall the right way.
