the problem of strategic patience is that it will be cornered, and it will be hard... everything will have to be only domestic.
the problem of confrontation is that china appears weak, meng is the prime example.
but beyond that, I think, the weakness will come from the lack of freespeech, sooner or later, the rebellion against the one hive mind will create chaos that will lead to the fall.
I think that unrestricted free speech is the only path. banning free speech generate lies, deceits, and those can become strong, to the point of blocking reality. Allowing domestic free speech doesn't mean allowing the foreigners to take hold of the minds to dumb down and recreate their rapeempire.
