In China, Xiaomi has released the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The gaming edition smartphone features an AMOLED display, a triple-camera configuration, and a special Mercedes finish, as well as the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU.
The base 8GB/128GB edition of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition costs CNY 3,299 (about Rs 39,050) in China. The phone is also available in 12GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB versions, with prices starting at CNY 3,599 (about Rs 42,650) and CNY 3,899 (roughly Rs 46,200).
The smartphone is also available in a Mercedes AMG variant for CNY 4,199. (Roughly Rs 49,750). The Black, Silver, Blue, and Grey colour options for the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition are available. There is currently no information on when the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be released outside of China, though it could be released as the Poco F4 GT worldwide.
Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Specifications
In the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an A+ DisplayMate rating.

The phone also has a 4,700mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and can be fully charged in 17 minutes. It runs on Android 12 and is based on MIUI 13. The K50 Gaming Edition comes with JBL-tuned stereo speakers that support Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition's optics include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 20 MP Sony IMX596 sensor is also used in Redmi's latest gaming smartphone. The phone has a metal frame and a massive dual vapour chamber of 4860mm2.
