Well it finally got resolved.
4 years ago, 1 year into a pension plan, a PPIS or private pension investment scheme, I noticed there was no annual interest coming back to me.
Before I let these fools take my funds out of one of my pension plans (Peugeot Talbot) where I worked for 3 years back in 1988 - 91. And a couple of other pensions I had, they were invested on the safe version of the stock market.
Put it this way, my Peugeot pension on it's own, had grown to £25.000 since I left there in 1991.
And the others were considerably more.
They cold called me, Avacade, and Liberty SIPP. (Liberty is now bankrupt)
Which is actually not legal to do. They also offered me a lump sum up-front, (that I did not take) that is also illegal.
Both of the above I only found out after contacting a solicitor.
Well the email I had longed for arrived today. The ombudsman has found in my favor that I was miss-advised and approached outside of the financial fair play remit that both companies had to adhere to.
One of the companies involved were not even registered to advise with regards to pensions! Or in the regulation loop.
The only part of this investment plan that has gained anything, is the part I chose with no advisers thoughts. I told them to put my spare funds in the SIPP RBS bank account, into gold bullion. That has gained around 40% in value.
The investment they advised lost 100% of my money!. BUT today that was corrected.
I get it all back with interest lost, interest that would have been gained, had they never took the funds out of their respective pension plans with past employers.
The other half of my relationship stated "bet you spend it all" LOL, But in truth, there is not a single thing I want or need to buy, so she is wrong.
So it looks like I get it all back next month, or latest January, Xmas came early, thanks Santa!............
Hope you have as good a day as me. Catch you tomorrow.
Nice to see it resolved after so many years. Glad it worked out for you and family, and happy early christmas I am sure it was a very nice surprise.

I sold all my cards, so unless someone gave me some, I should be empty. I haven't even checked since my last car supposedly sold, completely lost interest in the cards, and the ever growing chase the cards to get a playable deck against the bots.

I feel you on that, sold all my red cards, what ever they are called, will be cashing in soon too, greed got the better of them did it not? That is the way I see it.

If you have been away from the game for a bit and want to try and get back into it, but are unsure @davemccoy is still involved a lot with the game, and his @teampossible guild has people and cards to help people decide if they like the game and such. A lot has changed with the game, a whole lot, and I just kind of lost interest, I am not sure if all the bot players are still an issue or not.

Feels good my fiend, I was worried to say the least, as the UK government allowed this mess, to prop up the economy, next they will force pensions to fund things that make zero sense - mark my words.
