Playerunknown's Battleground is no longer just the unexpected hits of pre-access, but also one of Microsoft's latest catches. The popular battle royale game is looking exclusively at Xbox One on Game Preview this year.
The full version of Xbox One will come out next year, but the word "exclusive" is missing in the press release - the version of the PlayStation 4 game, though not yet known, is more than likely.
The final version of the Xbox One X also supports 4K resolution, as evidenced by the 4K trailer and 4K images. Playerunknown's Battlegrounds The 4K resolution is good, but it's not a game to play. Stylistically and technically, it is not purely subjectively anything tempting, and the higher resolution does not change that much. Graphics, however, is not why PUBG is so popular.
SteamSpy data show over three million players, which the developers confirmed in the press. The elaborated version of the game came out on Steam only a few months ago, and at the peak it is played by about two hundred thousand people at a time.
The console version of the game at Microsoft's press conference was announced by Playerunknown himself - Brendan Greene. He and his team of Bluehole developers will collect feedback from both Steam and Xbox Game Preview.
