Why I Support Andrew Yang (#YANGGANG)

Hello my dear Steemians(Blockchain, Crypto and Decentralised Social Media Lover)

Today I came across an amazing post about US Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang. And I was surprised to know about his ideology and manifesto.
To be honest I never heard about Yang before today. May be I am too ignorant, or mainstream media is not giving him the attention he deserve...

What Andrew Yang Beliefs in???

US President is the most powerful single person in the world so what he/she believes in and where his/her allegiances belong really matters and affects us all.
Here is what Andrew Yang beliefs in:

• Universal Basic Income to All
  The idea of "Freedom Dividend" of US$ 1000 to all US citizens above the age of 18 is central to Yang's campaign. Unlike many, he opposes the idea of money accumulation in the hands of few big corporations/persons. He proposes to finance "Freedom Dividend" by a Value-added tax and fight tax avoidance by large corporations.
• Workers Displacement by Technological Automation
  He also beliefs that if appropriate steps are not taken, the robots are eventually gonna take over the world creating massive unemployment.
• Pro-Cannabis
  Yang is pro-cannabis and supports legalization of cannabis and decriminalization of heroin for personal use. However, he doesn't support legalization of cocaine.
• Environment Policy
  Yang wants to bring US back into Paris Climate Agreement and wants to impose a carbon tax. He is also a supporter of thorium based nuclear power plants.
• Pro-Cryptocurrency
  Whereas, Donald Trump considers bitcoin as a big national security threat, Yang is far more open minded about cryptos and decentralized economy.
• Blockchain Based Mobile Voting
  Yangs considers archaic ballot based voting system absurds and aims to introduce mobile blockchain based voting system where voters won't have to wait in long lines for hours to cast their votes. He considers blockchain based voting more transparent and user friendly.
• Users Data and Privacy
  Yangs opposes the practice of current online world of selling users data without their express consent and without paying them anything.

Above were the few thing that Andrew Yang supports and believes in and I am surprised that a man with such an amazing and revolutionary manifesto haven't been given enough traction and coverage by mainstream media. Perhaps they think that Yangs policies will not favor their businesses.
That is why Yang is using alternate social media to get his word out!!!

What I Think About Andrew Yang???

Personally I am very impressed by his policies. The most attractive ones for me are his views about capitalism, cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, pro-cannibalism, environmental policy and online privacy rights.

I Support Yang...Do you???

Looking at all his believes, I think Yang would make an amazing US President and Steemian. Imagine having a man of such ideals among us!!!
