A representative for Bolsa and Garcia, the law agency representing the Foreign, was not immediately available for commentActing US attorney Brian Strach writes in the filing of the government that Force "misused public trust and favored the prosecution law enforcement agency" and he did not even qualify for the lawyer. Later he wrote that the actions of the Force were reputationally damaging for US law enforcement, say:
"When giving a gun and a badge to the defendant, the government forces him to carry out the duties as a lawful legal action, ie to protect and serve the people. The force destroys the public's confidence in law enforcement and the credibility of the whole criminal justice system is threatened."
Filing goes to describe how the government should work in court to blame another type of corruption, any sentence "send a message that such behavior will be met with a harsh punishment like a high-end prison"."Other government employees will see how the force could betray public trust," Strech wrote. "According to the message, such behavior must of course be such a long-term imprisonment sentence."Former US Secret Service agent Shan Bridges, convicted of charges of human rights violation and prosecution of justice on 7 August. The US government's reminder memo can be found at:
Its a great day when the corrupt within our system are brought down. I have to wonder though, as corrupt as these agents were, how did that affect the investigation into Ross Ulbricht? Was is possible that he was ultimately framed as The Dread Pirate Roberts? How believable is it that the mastermind behind the (then) largest black market exchange ever created, was using the laptop that contained the login information for control of the Silk Road on a public Wi-Fi to watch The Big Bang Theory?
