İstanbul ilimizin yedi tepe üzerine kurulmuş olduğunu bilmeyen herhalde kalmamıştır. 2 yazı şeklinde bu yeditepeyi inceleyelim. Bu yazımızda 3 tepeyi, sonraki yazıda da 4 tepeyi biraz yazacağım.

Birinci Tepe: Sarayburnu semtinden içeriye doğru yükselen, Ayasofya 'nın da üzerinde bulunduğu tepedir. Bizans imparatorluğunda akropolis (kentin önemli (dini, ticari, sosyal hayat vb. yürütülmüş olduğu ana meydan) diye tabir edilen bu tepede Milyon Taşı bulunur.
İkinci Tepe: Çemberlitaş olarak bilinir. Konstantin Sütunu bu tepededir. Sütunun çevresi tamamıyla ikinci tepededir.
Üçüncü Tepe: Beyazıt ve Süleymaniye bölgesini kapsayan tepedir. Her ne kadar günümüzde tepe tabirinden uzak bir şekle büründürülmüş olsa da asıl itibariyle tepedir.
Evet ilk 3 tepemizi kısaca anlattık. Bir sonraki yazıda unutmaz isem sonraki 4 tepeyi anlatacağım.
