Yellow Vests #ActeXVIII

This Saturday, March 16, in Paris during the act 18 "Yellow Vests", a video showing a police officer filling a bag with clothes has caught the net users. An IGPN survey has just been opened.

Publication of a video showing a CRS hastily putting clothes in a bag has caused many people to react.

The scene was captured by the journalist Brut Rémi Buisine, famous for filming live in the heart of the events. On the Champs Elysees the policeman in question is filmed in the process of storing clothes in a black bag, including jerseys. As the videographer approaches, he is vigorously jostled by another police officer.

A sequence that asks a logical question: did the policeman want to get those jerseys for himself, as many Twitter users have accused him?

The police union said: "the police officer implicated in the video was obviously not a CRS (...) There are no yellow stripes on the helmet, a distinctive sign of the CRS". For its part, the Police Ile-de-France categorically denied the hypothesis of theft, saying it was a classic procedure of "collection of evidence". But a police source has described these images as embarrassing on CheckNews.
