In a move to maintain itself as the best go-to App when it comes to Instant messaging, Facebook owned WhatsApp have updated its software to include Video Calls in Groups.
Now, if you're using the latest version , you can call up to 4 people in a WhatsApp Group. Surprisingly, the group call introduced is end-to-end encrypted!
According to WhatsApp Blog, this feature has been much requested by users. You can make a group call with up to four people total - anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new "add participant" button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call.
It has been just over 3 years since WhatsApp introduced Voice calls and later a video call option a year later. Today, the messaging app can boast of over 1.5 billion monthly users and according to WhatsApp, they make over Two billion minutes of calls via its service every day.
