Pretty random, but hey, I have just got to write about this. Apparently earlier yesterday afternoon the Indian Army tweeted out photos of what they claim is a Yeti footprint.
I am not joking, and I have yet to see any indications that they are joking (though joking, hoaxing, and getting fooled by somebody else are three separate things).
To give you a background, the legend of the Yeti is basically the Bigfoot of the east. Of course it has many legends and supposed sightings, but never any DNA evidence or any convincing evidence of existence. Yet just under a day ago the Indian Army tweeted out a lone (and very well preserved) 'footprint' in the snow that they claim is from the Yeti.
For the first time, an #IndianArmy Moutaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast 'Yeti' measuring 32x15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.

You just can't make this kind of story up. You can draw your own conclusions I guess.
