Art Of Manliness is a youtube channel dedicated to the idea of teaching traditional gentlemen skills.
The author and main protegonist, Brett McKay, showed on this channel originally short clips about topics likes muscel building, gentlemen's behavior, cooking, house hold repairs and a lot of more stuff a dady is supposed to teach to his son.
Some of this videos I would also show to my daughter, but most of them are specifically rendered to boys.
As more and more boys have to grow up in broken families without a clear father figure, I think ths channel is pretty useful.
Sadly, since roughly a year, Brett has changed the video mode to podcasts only. The topics stay the same and the quality of those I saw is still quite high but I just miss the mix of styles, specially the little stories and advisory clips. So I do not watch it that regularly any more.
Brett is marketing the book, he and his wife wrote, over the channel, also on the newer videos he has enabled the youtube adwords monetization. There is no further heavy selling happening on his channel.
The video I liked most is about how to end a conversation. Those days it helped me out at becoming better at meeting people on parties and events.
