200 hours intense training and learning in one month is nearly to an end. This is the time when everyone get very nervous!
The final exam!!
I am writing this from my perspective and I am so proud of her. Every morning we wake up at 4:30 AM and drive together to the Yoga Studio. Her training begins at 5:15 AM and ends at 6 PM.
I remember the first day when she came home and told me that she never experienced such a pain. Especially Ashtanga classes are killers. I told her she should wait until tomorrow when the real pain kicks in.
I reminded her that when you are committing yourself to a task, you have to power through and to learn to love the pain. After that you things will begin to open up and enjoy the growth.
The best part is she is not alone and that can experience the ups and downs with her fellow students.
She is in a class with six other cool individualistic yogis. Everyone and their own unique personalities and strengths. They sell work so well together without any drama. Their instructor Rahul is amazing and he knows how to push everyone just the right amount.
Libby is doing the Yoga Teacher Training not because she wants to become a yoga teacher but because she wants to deepen her practice.
Besides doing 4 hours Yoga a day she also learns about Hindu philosophy, mindfulness, and anatomy.
She told me there is one thing she might have a hard time in the future and this is finding a good yoga studio. That's true after 200 hours everything is different and you can tell if somebody knows what he/she is doing or not.
She paid for the 200 hours around 1400 US Dollar (price might be different now) including 3 #VEGAN meals. Breakfast, lunch, dinner plus some snacks. Even if your vegan or not the kitchen only serves vegan food which I think is fantastic.
So If you’re thinking about doing yoga teacher training to become better you should check it out. The studio called Nomad Yoga in Hoi An, Vietnam what is small town 25 minutes away from Da Nang.
I will let you guys know about her final exams and thank you so much for your support! If @steemit approves her Account she will be on Steemit with her own account and would love to share her experience.
Especially we flying in eleven days to Bali and she is joining the raw vegan cooking class that is founded by the raw chef Sayuri Tanaka one of the founders of Seeds Of Life but she has her own restaurant called Sayuri Healing Food now.
Two weeks intense raw vegan cooking program and I hope she enjoyed it and can share her experience with all of you!
Much love,
Marcel
Marcel, you are such a sweet boyfriend ♥ Good luck for Libby's exam and have a safe trip to Bali! Sayuri is one of our favourite restaurants in the WORLD! I hope Libby will learn how to make that raw vegan salmon made from smoked papaya and make it for us one day :D Btw, there is a chance that we will go back to Bali soon ;)
