The sitting asanas (upavistha sthiti) - as Svastikasana, Virasana, Padmasana,
Baddhakonasana, Upavisthakonasana, Gomukasana, Mulabandhasana etc., help eliminate tension and stress.
This is also a period in which we can take care of our knees, hamstrings, hips, ankles, fingers ... to lubricate them
extend them and flex them, and in this way release the joints and eradicate pains and inflammations. When the legs have relaxed practicing these asanas, the brain also calms down.
Gomukhasana is a real complete asana and it is one of the most difficult asanas for me too. Do you?
This asana is an opportunity for us to see how we are healthful our own hearts and how we are to open that space to others. When we practque this asana, our resistances and limitations flow to the surface, but with patient and constant practice, we will be able to move through these spaces to find freedom.
