Morning Fitness hour

Today morning Yoga session was intense. It was all about twist and turns. Though I am very flexible there are still some postures which are difficult for me but I want to keep trying them till I can get perfection in it. Yoga is not about doing the perfect asanas. It is the journey that matters of how you reach the final posture. It's ok if someone cannot do complicated poses, but one must keep trying and bit by bit you will see how the body transforms.

Some time I really wonder that it is our own body and yet so much out of our control and if we start treating it with love and respect eventually it will align with our thoughts. To achieve that discipline is important. To gain anything significant in life, discipline is the most important. Even if one is not perfect one must do it daily and only then perfection will be achieved. My teacher in the beginning would always tell me that I should not focus on the end result but keep monitoring the daily progress.

After my back surgery for a long time I stopped doing Yoga, it was my problem as I had got very scared after the surgery. For 2 years I did not do any intense physical activity, I just kept doing very mild ones and regular walks. But then I was also feeling restless and I decided to gear up myself. When I started again I realized how stiff my body had become and it was a task to get it back in rhythm. It's much better now, but there are still many postures where I am struggling and I need help.

My current Yoga teacher is too good, she keeps pushing me to work on myself and working with her I see immense progress in my body.

This looks easy and achievable, but here my one side works very well but the other side is a struggle to hold my leg.

Balancing in this position is a challenge for me still.

Seeing someone else doing always looks very easy and simple but when I do it myself some of these poses I realize how challenging it is to do.

Después de un buen tiempo sin practicar el yoga, no resulta fácil volver a tomar el ritmo, pues se pierde flexiblidad, como bien lo dices se requiere disciplina, perseverancia y conciencia en que el proceso diario deber ser nuestra meta a superar, al final llegarás a donde quieras llegar.

Que bueno que lo practicas pues mantendrás tu cuerpo saludable física y mentalmente.
