@Youarehope fundraising for childrens in a venezuela orphanage

Good news from the @Youarehope staff for you guys! Everyone who supports us will be happy to hear about this.

That is because we are going to make some children in a orphanage very happy.

I had always wanted to work with children because they are totally dependent on adults and in this case, as orphaned children, they depend on donations from good-hearted people and public and private institutions.

The city of the boys is the only children's orphanage in my city. There are 18 children between the ages of 6 and 14 years living at the orphanage. Previously 50 children lived there but due to the high cost of food and maintenance, the orphanage can only afford 18 children now.

There they give them food, education and teach them values of life.

That's where they sleep, with them a teacher sleeps to take care of them during the night.

The children are in charge of cleaning and ordering the rooms, they assign them a day in pairs and they do it during the morning, then they have breakfast and they go to classes.

As you can see, the kitchen is not luxurious or full of food, they really have to live with the minimum.

The classroom where they educate children

They also have spaces where children recreate themselves healthy

In a tour of the site, the director took us to a room called the bazaar and told us the didactic that they use to teach children from an early age to strive for what they want.

In this bazaar they keep all donations of toys, clothes, shoes and school supplies.

As the classes progress, the children are evaluated with exams and the scores of those exams add up Monthly, depending on how many scores they get per month they give a certain amount of "credit or pretend money" that they can exchange for the things that are inside this bazaar.

This is a way to inspire them to study and then they are rewarded for that effort.

Our Goal

As you can see, the facilities are big for the small number of children who are staying, this because to the economic crisis that our country is going through.

The director of this institution told us that despite having few children, sometimes they do not have enough food per month.

That's why I think our first priority is to donate a good food basket and since no one can live without hygiene, we also want to donate personal hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, shampoo).

Inside the rooms we observed that of the 5 showers only 2 are working, since the others were damaged only by the stopcocks and when replacing it we could have 5 showers for the childrens.

In the kitchen room we noticed that the knives they used were broken and some rusted, the director told me that they "do what they could", for this reason it is also in our objectives to donate a couple of new knives, as this would make the task of cooking daily for the whole institution easier.

Education is another very important factor, and since there they give classes we want to donate notebooks and pencils so they can continue teaching them.

We would like to give every boy at the orphanage:

1 toothpaste.
1 soap.
1 shampoo.
1 notebook with pencils

This will cost about 1,5 STEEM per each kid, So for all the boys the total cost will be 27 STEEM

We also need 60 STEEM for the food basket and 5 STEEM for the knives.

So we need in total 92 STEEM to make this happen!!

All the money from this post Will go towards buying all of this for the Boys at the orphanage.

So every vote counts.

If you have any Steem to contribute, donations are welcome.

These funds will be used well!! The final report will be AMAZING, you will see these tons of food in the pictures !!

I know it will be and I know we will see excellent results, which is why we do these together every time :)

That's amazing! Thank you for your contribution 🙏🏽

NICE I pushd this up from $84 to $85 and I found this because of @battleaxe on http://steemspeak.com chat! GOOD JOB We NEED these posts to promote Steemit! iut makes steemit look SO good!

Of course helping people is the main goal BUT we have to disguise the helping of the poor inside a PROFITABLE package of STEEM Business
its BUSINESS not charity! all these children we help wil become lifetime loyal steemians and they will add plenty of value BACK into the blockchain when they are a little older.... or someof them could get on steem now ... its important children be geiven a chance to earn money too! SOmetimes kids need to just make money and learn by earnings... steemit is better than school, they learn by erning, they learn by doing... they can do real projects and create real businesses,.... kids around the world cn have Kids Steemit and we can make sopecial apps for children to learn adn talk with each othr and it can be educational fun and profitable

I see a HUGE future for posts like this and posts by @kofpato and @steem4depoor

It's a very good initiative, more than now that these children need more support

Saludos

A community united for the same cause can achieve great things

I'm not doing this alone, im happy we are doing this together!

Good stuff brother!

Much love from venezuela!!

Nothing is more wonderful than seeing a smile of these children <3 children are the future and can help them in their transformation to be great people and to fight for their dreams, without a doubt it is one of the best acts <3 I really like all the help you give bro

@malos10 We can build a tower of ideas and turn them into reality, if we focus on what we want it sounds like something that only happens in movies but the truth is that in Steemit dreams can come true, with motivation and vision to the future to achieve what we want.

Within Steemit there are endless projects that have great ideas, others that are in full growth as well as some projects with more humanitarian purposes that really leave the name of steemit at the top of the world filling the entire community with pride . These projects generate enough energy in this platform to continue working on innovative projects. This brings a great responsibility, since our most loyal followers are waiting for good content and ideas that can help us grow as a group and we can share this knowledge with the other users that make up the Steemit family.

I am not against helping people in need, particularly orphanages but I really have to draw a fine line when it comes to people literally starving to death. In one of your post you bought school supplies and books and I just couldn't bring myself to up vote or give one penny to buying a pencil when people are picking through the trash to survive. We know some area's of Venezuela are not as hard hit outside of higher food prices as others. The hardest hit area's food brought in for distribution and stores has to be guarded by the army, a display set outside like yours as depicted wouldn't last one minute in a devastated area where people are literally starving. What I see when I view your pictures is healthy looking men, women and children with a over abundance stacked everywhere compared to many of the pictures coming out of Venezuela. Actually it looks more like the food is set up like a market where something like this is often shown in media descriptions as people who can afford to buy the food are found selling it on the black market for quadruple it's value. Some items even look like the way charity organization package items up being sent to Venezuela. I mean honestly I have to ask myself why would you go buy plastic bags to put this stuff in when the need for food is so great, why would you take money and have a huge banner made, t- shirts and pay to have copies made to slap steemit posters on the boxes when every single penny counts? Then I have to ask myself how is it that you can come up with boxes upon boxes of stuff depicted in these pictures when people can't even get a small stipend CLAP bag handed out by the government to try and survive on? Even people sending stuff to friends and relatives there are told the need is so great that it will more than likely get stolen before it even reaches their family but somehow you come up with box loads of stuff that in the interim of the overall picture of what's going on there doesn't quite quality as needy enough (as presented in your picture) at this time for even one penny from me.
