Among Brits under 25, men spend 35% of their free time looking at screens, with women spending 29%.
Young Britons spend 14 hours a week, more than a third of their free time, using electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets, according to data from 2015 collected by the British Office of National Statistics.
These young people use electronic devices for hobbies, computer jobs and games; 20% of the time is used for the "rest" that in the language of the users of electronic devices is to search the Internet and use the chat on the mobile phone.
The data show that respondents constantly look at screens not only in the work context but also in their free time, as leisure and social relationships have shifted from physical spaces to social networks.
The UK Office of National Statistics's definition of "leisure time" excludes unpaid work such as housework and childcare. Also excluded is the time spent studying, moving to work and basic activities such as eating and sleeping, as well as paid work.
Thanks for your time!

Well I bet that applies not only to Brits... and well 14 hours per week? That's nothing ... I kind of have a feeling that numbers are much higher :)

Possibly!! As it says in the last paragraph, there are some things that are excluded from the definition of leisure time.

Nah still, if you get into the good game it is possible to spend way much more time per week on the computer than that ^.^

Yes, of course!
I´m sure it's more than 14h nowadays. This results took a long time to collect and analyze, they are from 2015 collected by the British Office of National Statistics.
