This building has divided opinion since it was built in 1955. Some people love the striking and imposing Stalinist architecture, and see it as an important historical landmark that adds character to an otherwise boring mess of glass skyscrapers in the Warsaw downtown.
Others hate it , as it although it was given as a 'gift' to the people of Poland by the USSR, it serves as a reminder of the Soviet occupation and oppression.

I agree. I really like this building, for its historical & aesthetic value. Its a lot more interesting than all the other buildings that surround it to my eyes.

This type of architecture seems very beautiful, regardless of the political sense it may have, when something stands out for its beauty. Thanks for sharing it, besides giving me a different perspective of where I live, it's a gift, greetings. @sroka87
