@yourluckyphotos has been growing, and it is time to respond to that growth. Picking 10 Lucky photographers each day is no longer enough to help support everyone, as there are so many posts to choose from that are using the "yourluckyphotos" tag, and there are so many brilliant photographers that it's a shame that some don't get featured. So starting March 2018, there will now be 20 lucky photographers picked each day, and there will be 8 lottery winners drawn at the end of March 2018.

There will also be changes made to the pot of SBD being paid out. Starting March 2018, winning numbers of the monthly Lucky Photographer Lottery will either get 5 Steem dollars each, or $20 US Dollars worth of SBD each, depending if the price of a Steem Dollar is above or below $4 USD. This keeps @yourluckyphotos from going broke, while guaranteeing at least a decent prize for each lottery number if the price of SBD were to drop drastically. The rules for winning the lottery haven't changed. If you have 8 lottery numbers for the month, you could theoretically win the entire SBD pot.

Lastly, a single account may still be featured twice or more in one day, but will only receive 1 lottery number; their separate posts will be bundled into one lottery number. This allows @yourluckyphotos to highlight more than one post from a photographer in some cases (posting 20 different posts of pictures isn't going to get them all featured lol, they need to be presentable pictures to be featured in the first place, and spamming is annoying anyway). This also allows @yourluckyphotos to branch out and upvote new photographers that may not be aware of this service, instead of this becoming a circle-jerk of the same talented photographers every day.
