Looking for an alternative to Spotify, Youtube and Soundcloud (from an artist point of view)

My favorite pastime is watching videoclips on Youtube.
Sometimes I listen to a song and want to reward the artist for it.
(just like you throw a quarter into a hat of a streetartist)
What I usually do, is that I go to Beatport and buy the track. Honestly, I never listen these tracks anymore, because Youtube is more convenient.
There should be an easier way to reward artists.

For many years artists are being taken advantage of by middlemen like Youtube , Spotify, recordlabels and such. They take a large chunk of the earnings.
See how little artists make from their work:

iTunes

• User pays $0,99
• Artist only receives $0,69

Google Play

• User pays $0,99
• Artist only receives $0,23

For streaming services the rewards are even more ridiculous

Spotify

• User has to pay a subscription or listen to ads
• Artists have to pay distributor and get only $0.0045 per stream.

Youtube

• User has to pay a subscription or listen to ads (Youtube Premium)
• Artists only get $0.0018 per stream

Phonique only received $63,00 for this wonderful track . It had 34k viewers!!

This is absurd!

Something has to change!!

Tipping is voluntarily…and for artist to get paid sufficiently, there should be a culture change. Instead of paying beforehand, you tip afterwards.

I think the streetartist is good analogy..we reward them, if we like what they do. Just throw a quarter in the guitar case!

So listen to your favorite music and tip generously..
Remember: 100% goes to the artist.

Suppose 25% of the listeners would pay the recommended 50LBC..
Phonique would receive $7900,00 instead of $63,00!
