in youtube •  7 years ago

YouTube is now working on stricter policies that will punish creators who do not follow the rules, and cause significant harms and damage the platform reputation.

The company has come under heavy criticism after a video posted by vlogger Logan Paul, filming an apparent suicide victim in a Japanese forest. His action had caused social media chaos all over the world.

The video was immediately taken down by YouTube and even had him removed from its Google Adsense program.

Here is a sorry video from Logan Paul

Following this action YouTube have announced to stricken their policies around which channels can be monetized which have panic among small video makers.
