Without question, my all-time favorite YouTuber is Mehdi Sadaghdar (a.k.a. ElectroBoom).

Mehdi Sadaghdar was born in Iran in 1977 and currently resides in Vancouver, BC. His videos are very funny and educational. His channel has over 1 million subscribers and his video on how to build a coil gun has received over 7.5 million views.

Mehdi earned a B.A.Sc. from the University of Tehran in 1999 and a M.A.Sc. from Simon Fraser University in 2006.

His videos are educational so I allow my kids to view them as part of their home school routine. He is famous for showing you how NOT to do things, which usually involves him getting hurt or receiving electrical shocks.

One of my favorite videos of his is the one where he makes pancake art.

Mehdi's daughter also started her own YouTube channel called ElectroCUTE
