My suspicion is that youtube's censoring filters have snagged up folks like pewdiepie in the net even though his content is not challenging any kind of status quo. I wouldn't imagine that youtube/google management cares much that this stuff is backfiring. I was remembering the old days when you could view content without swimming in ads. Definitely a good time to foster alternatives. Net freedom is our birthright!
