Youtube hates their small creators

I have been posting content on this platform since 2012, and viewing content back in the old days of numa numa and dramatic groundhog. I would highly implore youtube to realize what it is doing to the veterans on the site who have been around the longest. They should have grandfathered creators who reached the old milestones into the new program. Instead they left them behind. The craziest part about it is now you are expected to submit exclusive content to youtube with absolutely no compensation. Personally this is wrong on so many levels, and as more and more small creators realize this they will leave. I hope youtube is happy with the most popular channels because they have isolated smaller creators.

Re-uploaded on D.tube to bring light to this issue. Happy to have found D.tube and look forward to building a strong community that supports each other on a platform that gives incentive to small creators!

I am starting to think YouTube doesn't give a rats hat about small channels, when was the last time YouTube rewarded a small creator for their hard work? YouTube always make it harder for the small creators to monetize. They always punish the small channels when ever the big guys mess up like what happened with Logan Paul. If YouTube keeps this up they are going to drive people away from the plat form

Exactly, to them small creators are dispensable because they have many large creators with millions of subs, what they fail to see is how youtube got big on the backs of small creators. Most people I know who youtubers prefer smaller channels because they are unique.

Then again YouTube screws over the large channels to by demonetizing their videos. Back when YouTube started demonetizing back in 2016, it caused some YouTubers to not be able to pay their rent. And they had to make a Patreon to make up for the money that they lost

Not long ago YT had a huge diversity, but now the diversity is shrinking. My opinion is that this will drive the users away by time, because it will get boring to see one Let`s Play or some News or whatever from the same people again and again. Also the remaining YouTubers will have to create (nearly forced) content all the time which will end in absolutely senseless Videos I think. In the end YouTube can do whatever it wants, and if it wants to go to Hell - yeah - bye then :-) makes way for some fresh winds like DTube.

By the way ... I made a Video about it

Please feel free to have a look :-)

Youtube is repeating what google did.

The Google search engine shadow banned small web sites making it almost impossible for new web developers and small businesses to gain traction on the web.

It is extremely hard for legitimate channels to get subscribers. However, it is one of the easiest metrics for bad actors to game. A group that wants to game the system need simply get control of a thousand accounts and they catapult anyone they want into monetization mode.
